It has been widely reported in the media that SF has made allegations of war crimes against our war heroes that eliminated terrorism and also against the Defence secretary. It seems that all these allegations are an act of revenge. SF made alliances with terrorist sympathiser TNA, former terrorist group JVP and the traitor RW who gave a large part of the country to be under the control of the terrorists. In fact if SF was not arrested he would have caused real damage to Lanka. SF poses a grave danger to Lanka, its dignity, itƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s military and law and order.

I would like to ask Mahanayakas how about lobbying to:

1. Provide non toxic drinking water for the people of NCP.

2. Free the poor Sinhala Buddhist peasants from extreme poverty.

3. Lobby to develop community spirit among Sinhala Buddhists

4. Lobby to resettle displaced Sinhalese in the North and the East.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The Tamils have NGOƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s, Namil Nadu, imperialist countries, rich bogus refugee relatives helping them. Where as the Sinhala poor in remote areas are marginalised, voiceless and powerless with no one helping them.

I understand that Christian organisations promote social interaction and also help families when they face difficulties. How about lobbying for Buddhists to get organised rather than lobby for the freedom of a hero turned traitor. If Mahanayakas have any sense, they should lobby to free our occupied coastal areas rather than lobby to free a traitor.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It could be that SF is genuinely sick as suggested by some writers. It could be that SF is suffering from the effect of lead in his body. If that is the case, he deserves our sympathy and we should do all we can to help him.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ I have to remind the Sinhalese that we have lost the North, the East, Hill country and even Colombo. At this rate of decline, it may not be long before we lose the whole country or become second class citizens in our own country. It has happened to the people of Bolivia and it is not scare mongering. What has the Mahana yakas been doing whilst we faced this massive decline ?

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ If Buddhists, including Buddhist leaders are to survive they need to understand and be aware of global politics, external threats etc.

It would have been far better to spend the time of Mahana yakas to promote strengthening of Sri Lanka ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s territorial integrity. There is also a need to lobby to settle the 135,000 Sinhelas to replace those butchered by the Tamil terrorists in their ethnic cleansing programme
