The fact that a Catholic priest, one Fr. S.J.Emmanuel, is going to lead the Global Tamil Forum (GTF) did not surprise us the least. (GTF) being an extension of the terror organization LTTE, which the fascist Prabakran led until May 2009. Now the world at large is enlightened as to the fact that LTTE is none other than a child of the Holy Catholic Church.
Now that the true mother of LTTE has stepped out of the woodwork, how are Lankans to respond to the real situation? Indeed they would have realised by now, that they have been grappling with an undeclared Holy war, the past decades.
Catholic Portuguese landed in Lanka in 1505. Indeed by 1557 the natives got a taste of what to expect from these uncouth invaders with their self centered religion. Queyroz documents that ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Some bhikkhus tried to rouse up the people to protest against what was happening, but the outcome of it was that thirty bhikkhus were taken and hanged by the Portuguese.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚
Knowledge of the Catholic ChurchƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s modern History, under the circumstances, may grant us an insight which may provide us with an edge, when battling with this slimy enemy. Many races and individuals paid the ultimate price just because they shirked doing their home work.
The Thirty Years War (1618-48) between Protestant and the Holy Roman Empire offered some relief to the Buddhists in Lanka. For the Dutch who in 1658 occupied the CeylonƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s coastal belt after ejecting the Portuguese were, Protestant Calvinists. They had an implacable hatred for the Portuguese and especially the Roman Catholic creed hence compelled the Catholics to convert to Protestantism. ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Three plackaats,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ or decrees were issued by the Dutch, the first in September 19, 1658 which forbade anybody to give shelter or asylum to any catholic fathers, under penalty of death. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ As usual, the Buddhist King Raja Singha II, with his inbuilt Buddhist tolerance offered asylum to this murderous Catholics with horrendous repercussion to the nation.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Today Lankans have to pay an enormous price for that Buddhist tolerance.
During the most decisive period of the recent history, we find Pope Pius XII occupying the seat of the Holy See. Born Eugenio Pascelli, since 1939 was the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Vicar of ChristƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ until his demise in 1958.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Bizarrely enough, the real estate of the holy Catholic Church has been diminishing spectacularly since mid 17 hundreds. Finally Papacy losing its grip on the land it has sized through a con act called the ‘Donation of ConstantineƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢. Indeed in 1864 Pope Pius IX, was convinced that modern secular ideas presented a real threat to the Holy Church hence issued an Encyclical which itemised “the principal Errors of our time.” ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ He specified some ninety “errors and perverse doctrines” including rationalism, science, democracy, the liberty of the press, secular education, socialism and obviously communism.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Despite Popes applying breaks on progress and knowledge, they aggrandized themselves with personnel power during the same period. On the eve of the Second World War no single individual has been heaped with so much authority as the sitting Pope, except perhaps Adolf Hitler.
In fact, by 1820, six years prior to Pascelli’s birth, the doctrine of papal infallibility had been proclaimed at the climax of the Vatican Council. This informed the believers that “ex cathedra” (Latin for from the seat) statements by the popes are as ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”infallibleƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ as those in the Bible, whatever that means.
The following are three vital “ex cathedra” statements or “infallible” declarations of Roman Catholicism, which they insist be placed in par with the Holy Book. (Emphasis mine):
“There is but one universal Church of the faithful, outside of which no one at all can be saved” (Pope Innocent III, Fourth Lateran Council, 1215.)
“We declare, say, define, and pronounce that it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff” (Pope Boniface VIII, the Bull Unam Sanctam, 1302.)
“[The Holy Roman Church] firmly believes, professes and teaches that none of those who are not within the Catholic Church, not only Pagans, but Jews, heretics and schematics, can ever be partakers of eternal life, but are to go into the eternal fire ‘prepared for the devil, and his angels’ (Mt. xxv. 41), unless before the close of their lives they shall have entered into that Church; (Pope Eugene IV, The Bull Cantate Domino, 1441).
To believe in papal infallibility is to have faith that it is ONLY Roman Catholics can be saved, for they alone are in submission to the Pope. Obviously if one is to swallow this tall tale, one must stretch oneƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s imagination to unimaginable limits.
These together with that bizarre dogma of a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”the Immaculate ConceptionƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ of Mary, proclaimed in 1854 by Pope Pius IX set the stage for a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”psychologicalƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ power grab by the popes in the coming centuries.
Peculiarly, the Popes owned powers to release sinners, by granting pardon for any guilt of their sins from punishment, in this world and in the next. Indulgences, a lucrative source of revenue, should be paid to the Church if to quench the fires of purgatory and hell, and exploited such preposterous dogmas unblushingly, for we find their believers suspended in an intellectual limbo.
The pioneering work ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”PIUS XII The Hound of HitlerƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ written by Gerad Noel, also a good Catholic, has given an incisive and a balanced insight of the war time Pope and laid bare his prejudices and fickle attitudes, which helped dispatch millions to their horrendous kismet.
Pascelli as PopeƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s foreign secretary in the early 1930ies, juggled the canon law and stitched it into something called, ‘concordat law’. Eugenio had a bombastic attitude to the humanity at large. He was of the opinion that the Church had the right and the moral duty, by quasi-political means, to be acknowledged as the supreme law-making authority of the human society.
No less than 25 ‘concordats’ were concluded between 1914 and 1958, all of these with grievous consequences to the world at large. These ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”concordats,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ Pasclli fervently believed, is necessary to fulfill the Catholic GodƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Great DesignƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢. ItƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s over my head what that ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Great DesignƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ was, but it did return huge kickbacks in the form of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”greatƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ power, wealth and prestige to the Catholic Priests.
Pascelli never regretted the first ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”ConcordatƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢, concluded with Serbia. Not so the sitting Pope Pious XI, for he gauged its flaws and regretted it. Indeed we find in time this Concordat contributed to trigger the First World War.
On 11th February 1929, the so-called ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Lateran TreatyƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ was signed between the Pope and the fascist leader Mussolini. Church received 92.1 million dollars, and the Holy See also acquired the summer palace of Castel Gandolfo, where the Pope could reside during the hottest months of the year. But the fascist government of Mussolini received its ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”pound of fleshƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢. Indeed with the signing of the Lateran treaty, the Catholic clergy were legally required to swear oaths of loyalty to the Fascist government. No Cardinal, bishop or priest could be appointed for service in Italy without the approval of Mussolini. Clergymen refusing to obey Fascist strictures could be fined and imprisoned.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The Holy Father himself has declared that he would negotiate with the devil itself if the good of souls required it. In fact the diplomat Pascelli saw communism as a greater bogy than fascism. The only parallel I am able to equate this ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”betrayalƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ is, with that of Judas, who sold his master for 12 pieces of silver.
On July 1933 Reich ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”ConcordatƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ was formally initialled. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ For this Pascelli met up with HitlerƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s representative. ItƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s being debated ever since that Hitler was too wily for Pascelli and did not quite grasp what he was getting into. On the contrary, Pascelli had his own agenda just as Hitler, and personally I am of the opinion that he was a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”closet national socialistƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢. I will under pin this statement more elaborately, as we move along.
On 3rd October 1935 Mussolini invaded Ethiopia and Catholic Curia blessed the departing Italian troops for this Holy enterprise. Indeed Mussolini soon demanded that Jew should vacate Italy or else…
The world was on the brink of war by February I939 and Ratti (Pope Pius XI, PascelliƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s predecessor) was keen to make a statement on anti-Semitism.
He fixed a meeting with his bishops on the 11th Feb., for it was both the anniversary of his coronation and the tenth anniversary of the Lateran Treaty. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ But at the beginning of February he had a heart attack, and then another. Finally, on 10 February, his body finally gave in. He had come tantalizingly close to making an announcement which might have just made a real difference to the humanity at large. Indeed rumours had it that Ratti was murdered by his doctor in order to suppress this damning statement.
Pascelli, on occupying the Holy See as Pious the XII, quickly make this document disappear, for it never saw the light of day again.
Indeed Pius XII had no opinion when HitlerƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s thugs walked into Czechoslovakia, he stood by when he annexed Austria, was totally mute when HitlerƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s troops over ran Poland. In fact he was totally mum when Norway, Holland, Denmark & Belgium were occupied.
By 1940 the World War 2 was in full swing, and we find his silenceƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”deafeningƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢. Raw aggression by Hitler on defenseless nations and people was never condemned, but it did not escape the attention of the world. Pius the XII was probably under the illusion that his National Socialist comrades would emerge victorious, hence tenaciously held on to a policy of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”suspended animationƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢. Hitler for his part was certain that no moral indictments was ever going to emanate from the holy see, hence set in motion his pogroms of extermination ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Jews, Gypsies, Poles, Russian and anyone not looking ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”AryanƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢.
Indeed not only Hitler and Mussolini who did the ethnic cleansing, there were other helpers such as catholic Croatia. Now Croatia was a bulwark against communism and a darling of Paclli. The cold, brutal facts are inescapable. Between 1941 and 1945, the Ustashe (Croatian paramilitary) murdered over 500.000 Serbs, Jews, gypsies and communists.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
All those war torn years Pacelli went by a philosophy of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”I hear no evil, I see no evil and I speak no evilƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢. So itƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s no coincidence that his later ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”concordatsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ were all with Fascist totalitarian regimes such as: Salazar’s Portugal (1940), Franco’s Spain (1953) and Trujillo’s Dominican Republic (1954).
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Finally after the collapse of the third Reich and fascism nose dived, Pope on 2nd June 1945 categorically denounced Nazism.
Catholic Church must be of the opinion that the world is full of nincompoops such as his dull Catholic followers but the world was not so easily hoodwinked.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ But did this honeymoon with fascists end with the collapse of the 3rd Reich? Not by a long shot.
Gut Walters in his work ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Hunting EvilƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ informs that; while many Nazi mass murderers , such as Adolf Eichmann, Josef Mengele, Franz stungl, Klaus Barbie e.t.c., were been hunted after the WWII, there was one powerful and an affluent organisation, helping these war criminals escape the hangmanƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s noose. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Not only the escape route was well oiled, but Catholic semi fascistic dictators such as Juan Peron of Argentina and Alfredo Stroessner of Paraguay were willing to provide these killers with asylum.
Aided and abetted by Catholic priests in Rome, these murderers travelled down secret escape routes hiding in foreboding castles high in the Austrian Alps and then vanished into thin air, only to emerge in Latin America. While priests such as Alois Hudal and Krunoslav Draganovic were the practical contacts in Rome who provided the escapees with Red Cross Travel Documents, tickets and money, but the one who was really pulling the strings from behind was none other than the sly Vicar of Christ.
Closer to home we recognise how the catholic intrigue in Asia imploded in the 60s. How USA was out manuerd into getting involved in South Vietnam to fight a civil war on behalf of the Catholic Church has been never explained to the common man.
By March 1954 the Catholic France lost the Battle of Dien Bien Phu in north western Vietnam. At that point in time, less than 10% Catholic Vietnamese were controlling South Vietnam and consequently all of its Presidents were Catholic with a single exception. The majority Buddhist had lost their rights and the Monks were self immolating in protest.
Tolerant Buddhists did not know how to fight this deceitful enemy, so the crossed over to the communists who had a real game plan.

Cardinal Francis Spellman, the archbishop of New York, a good friend of Pius the XII, was the go between, who pushed America into this vortex. In this he fully exploited the childish American mentality. If USA military were hoodwinked into entering South Vietnam and get humiliated, then USA would have to hang on and fight to the finish.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ For, to pull out of a conflict would be to lose the super power status. The fall of South Vietnam is ancient history now, but the true story, as to how USA was conned into Vietnam has never been told.
What is the use of such unique information to Lankans? If they only knew, that they were but a hairƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s breath away from been another Vietnam. The 33% Jaffna Tamil Catholics and 5% Sinhalese Catholics aided by the neo colonial forces were doing their utmost to incite an invasion of the Island.
Catholics history above makes clear that they are attuned to a fascistic mind set. Presently, Catholics nations such as Spain, Italy and such have by passed the blind obedience state of mind. Even one of the most ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”blind believerƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ nation, Ireland, have just made a seven hundred page report about their paedophile Catholic Priests andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Pope acknowledge that the findings are factual.

They are stuck in a time warp of a Croatian ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”UstasheƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ mind set? They are ready and willing to speak Italian, Norwegian, Germen or what you have, but Sinhalese simply leave a bad taste in their mouth. What is this deep seated psychological malady for it?
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Is it due to a long standing inferiority complex of the Jaffna Catholic? Indeed since King Elara’s time they have been trying to subdue the Sinhalese and never managing it. They speak of their home land as if it is a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”fait accompliƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢, how about the homeland of the Red Indians of America, Aborigines of Australia, or indeed the original Tahiti and Haiti natives, all of whom were swept away from the face of earth by the white man. Its time these uncle Toms stop crying to their earlier colonial masters ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”you promisedƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”you promisedƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ for they are unable to give them anything. Instead of their claim for a ghetto Eelam they have to learn to live in pluralistic societies.
Curiously on the other hand they nurse a hollow sense of superiority? Is it because the white man opened schools, provided education and offered white collar jobs while their Tamil Indian cousins were flogging away in menial subsistence. Just because one embraces white manƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s religion, apes his dress code, speaks his lingo does not propel him to superiority.
They are harshly intolerant of the Indian Tamils and would not dream of allowing them to reside within their midst, and as a rule shy away from marrying an Indian Tamil. Jaffna Catholic Tamils are with amnesia, they have forgotten that originally they arrived from Tamil Nadu themselves and were modernized after living with broadminded Sinhalese?
Only distinction they can be proud of is elevating racist terrorism to a higher echelon.
Jaffna Tamil Catholics may be of the opinion that the earlier Colonials will outwit the Sinhalese and give them their homeland. But thatƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s a pipe dream. Today, the white colonial masters are losing their power base fast and would find it difficult to resuscitate the failing Uncle Toms.
If the Sri Lankans were to get at the political and social reality, then answers to the following three vital questions need to be found.
a.) ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Who manipulated President Jayewardene to bring the bodies of the 13 dead soldiers to Colombo in 1983?
b.)ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ What power did Quisling Ranil Wikramasinghe own to sign a ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ treaty with the mass murderer Prabhakran, and where is the original agreement?
a.)ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Who was behind Millennium City sell-out?

Time is ripe for Lankans to halt the Tamil Catholic ChurchƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s aggression on Sri Lankan sovereignty. If we are to consolidate the victory over the LTTE terrorism, the Nation should equip itself with the knowledge of Catholic action, and its ulterior game-plan. Lacking that insight has dispatched many nations to the dust bin of history.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Knowledge and strategic planning is the need of the hour if we are to overcome this merciless enemy. Only then we will be in a position to bring peace and prosperity to Sri Lanka.

Why did the Sinhala Catholic Church maintain silence over their Tamil counterparts?
Tamil Catholic Church hides behind “TAMIL” but did all the crimes ordered by Vatican with the help of the uneducated LTTE criminals. LTTE was always ran by Catholics and the criminal minded Valvettiturai smugglers.
Sinhala Catholic Jayalath Jayawardene was invited by Canadian Tigers in 1997 to participate in a conference in Ottawa. Later he barked in support of LTTE many times.
Catholic Church never be a friend of Tamil people but the leaders of the Tamil party lead by a christian Chelvanayakam whose son-in-law A.J.Wilson was the author of the current Presidential Constitution.
Catholics and Christians are merely 11% among Tamils and the rest are Hindus. Hindus dont have any orgs. based on their religion.
In my view, USA needs a territory permanantly in Sri Lanka and tries it through Catholic Church. The USAID which is part of America’s State Department now publicly involves in the idea of creating an EAST TIMOR in Sri Lanka.
Unfortunately Hindus speak Tamil and Buddhists speak Sinhala. This matter is exploited by Catholic Church very well. Basically Hinduism and Buddhism have many common ideals.
