US Neocons are deceiving the world on Iran

According to Charles Lewis and Mark Reading-Smith of the US Centre for Public Integrity, George W. Bush and the neocons Dick Cheney, Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell and Paul Wolfowitz ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”unequivocallyƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ stated on at least 935 separate occasions between September 11, 20001 and March 19, 2003 Iraqi invasion, that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. In short, the Bush administration led the nation to war on the basis of erroneous information that it methodically propagated.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Just as the world has gone past the seventh inglorious anniversary of the Iraqi invasion on false pretences, they have intensified their campaign against Iran.

They are at it again!

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It is no coincidence that the campaign against Iran was kick-started in the immediate aftermath of the AIPAC conference; that was the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”resolutionƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ of the conference (as previously reported). The campaign has also been timed to coincide with the 31st anniversary celebrations of the IranƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Islamic Republic that was established with an astonishing 98.2 per cent of the national vote following the throwing out of the murderous US-puppet regime of Reza Shah Pahlavi: they are still smarting!

The anti-Iran campaign of vicious lies and threats by the US Zionist establishment, aided by the Rupert Murdoch owned corporate media network including Reuters, is psychological warfare aimed at softening-up Iran, and at influencing US and global public opinion.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ They have organised gatherings of various (rich, Euroean and western) Zionist groups to issue deadlines to Iran on its nuclear program; claimed that they have got satellite images (again!) of a hidden nuclear reactor in a place called Qom in Iran; and also announced that a number of prominent Iranian nuclear scientists (whom Iran claims were kidnapped by Mossad and CIA with Saudi collaboration) have in fact ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”defectedƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ to the US. Murdoch media also reports that they are on the verge of receiving Russian and Chinese support at the UN Security Council for tough sanctions on Iran.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ All the lies of course, are based on their determination to sabotage IranƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s

nuclear programme designed to supplement the countryƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s energy supply with nuclear power. IranƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s first nuclear power station being constructed with Russian help is going to be commissioned soon.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The quarrel the Zionists are looking to pick with Iran is based on the ridiculous claim that they have ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”suspicionsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ about IranƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s uranium enrichment because enriched uranium could also be used as fissile material for nuclear weapons. In its declassified annual report to Congress, the CIA says: ‘Iran is keeping open the option to develop nuclear weapons though we do not know whether Tehran eventually will decide to produce nuclear weapons.’ Obviously there is no evidence here that justifies this massive anti-Iranian campaign.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ This is plain and simple ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”thuggishƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ behaviour, not different from a village bully threatening the owner of a motor vehicle because he has ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”suspicionsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ that the fuel used to run the car could be used to set fire to a building! America and Israel are of course, the thugs of the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”global villageƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The US or Israel has no right to threaten any country, even under the pretext of safeguarding the so-called ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Non-Proliferation TreatyƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢: this grossly hegemonic piece of paper (put in place by the only ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”nuclear war criminalƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ of the world, the US, so that they could preserve their bullying power backed by military strength), allows countries the right to use nuclear technology for peaceful purposes. But they demand that Iran ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”cooperate fullyƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ with the International Atomic Energy Authority to restore the confidence of the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”international communityƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ (the club!).

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”psyopƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ has included a number of mysterious disappearances of prominent scientists associated with IranƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s nuclear program: October last year, Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki lodged formal complaints with Washington and the United Nations alleging that 11 kidnapped Iranians are being held in US jails.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The complaint followed the disappearance in Saudi Arabia, while on pilgrimage to Mecca, of Shahram Amiri, a young nuclear scientist working on the medical use of nuclear technology. Iranian media reported that Amiri had been stopped on arrival in Saudi Arabia in May, and was questioned by Saudi agents. Three days later he disappeared. Iran accuses Saudi involvement in the kidnapping.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Previous to that, in 2007, Ali Reza Asgari, a former deputy defence minister who had ultimate control over Iran’s nuclear and missile programmes disappeared in Istanbul. In January this year another nuclear scientist, Massoud Ali Mohammadi, was killed in Tehran.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ As part of the conspiracy to drum up international support for these dirty tricks, Zionists in Europe and Canada have hurriedly gathered various forums of the five or six countries that seem to comprise the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”international communityƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢: the four foot-Romanian who is running France these days, Nicolas Sarkozy, rushed to Washington to meet with Barack Obama, to hand over some bogus ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”intelligenceƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ on Iran and to put pressure on him to ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”do moreƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The Canadian Zionist Foreign Minister Lawrence Cannon called up a meeting of foreign ministers of the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Group of EightƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ – Britain, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Russia and the US. Another group, interestingly named E3+3 (the US, Russia, China, France, Britain and Germany) forced Iran to export uranium to Russia and France for enrichment, to be returned as fuel rods.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ They have been having trouble within another group named ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”P5+1ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ due to ChinaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s dignified and measured approach to conspiracies of this nature. Hilary Clinton announced that China has agreed to ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”a serious negotiationsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ about a proposed new UN Security Council resolution on Iran. (China followed up with its own announcement that they ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”will continue to seek peaceful solution to the Iran nuclear issueƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢).

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ They did not forget to fire a warning shot or two either: US launched a joint military exercise with Saudi Arabia and test-fired a submarine-launched ballistic missile capable of carrying nuclear warheads. will probably explain as deterrence! It is good weapons business too; the US has been ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”strengthening missile defencesƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ in allied Arab nations in the Gulf to help counter any potential missile strike from Iran!

But unfortunately for the Zionists, things may be a little harder this time around. The support among the US military hierarchy as well as the general public seems to be waning: General David Petraeus, Commander of the US Army, speaking to the Senate Armed Services Committee, said that IsraelƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s policies were inflaming the region, and Israeli policies damn the US and the rest of the world.

Most Americans feel that the US is right to champion Israel’s right to exist but the Israeli governmentƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s course of action that inflames passions destroys US credibility in the Arab world and weakens the ability of moderate Arab leaders to talk peace. They question whether eliminating Iranian nuclear weapons is a higher priority than working for peace with the Palestinians.

President Obama himself is desperate to improve relations with the Arab and Muslim worlds after years of bloodshed in Iraq and Afghanistan. So long as the Israeli-Palestinian peace process remains stalled, WashingtonƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s relationships with Israel and the Arab states will be like a zero-sum game, as they say.

Such sentiments were also expressed just this week, by the Minnesota Republican Congressman Keith Ellison who is leading a US trade delegation to the Gulf. He told Arab News: ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”East Jerusalem is a land that was acquired by conquest and occupation, and UN resolutions are clear; international law is clear – you cannot use warfare to expand your territories and colonise another country. Many countries in the Middle East, including Israel, have relations with the United States, but I don’t believe that there should be any exclusive or special relationship.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Most Western people in general are no longer swayed by the Zionist-imposed ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”sense of moral dutyƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ to preserve the Jewish people after the Holocaust; the Zionist exploitation of this ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”guilt complexƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢, that worked for the last 60 years, has begun to wear thin in view of Israeli atrocities on Palestinians, worse than those perpetrated by the Nazis on Jews! The American public is also beginning to question Zionist attempts to portray Israel as a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”besieged democracyƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ with indispensable, mutual strategic interests with the US in resisting ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Arab extremismƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢.

IranƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s defiant attitude in its relationships with the West on the other hand, including the fiery counter-rhetoric of President Ahmadinejad is earning popular respect in the US, Middle East and obviously in the South. Popular support for Iran arises from the perception that it is one of the few governments to voice the opinions of the oppressed against the US hegemony, and against Israeli crimes.

Hopefully the world will stand up against WMD lies this time around; IranƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s friends have a special responsibility to campaign for truth and justice at the UN.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The neocons should not be allowed to deceive the world again in order to wage war.

An interesting article if not somewhat far-fetched(” Israeli atrocities on Palestinians, worse than those perpetrated by the Nazis on Jews!”).

  2. Heshan Says:

Also, this is pretty far-fetched: ” Iran’s defiant attitude in its relationships with the West on the other hand, including the fiery counter-rhetoric of President Ahmadinejad is earning popular respect in the US, Middle East and obviously in the South. Popular support for Iran arises from the perception that it is one of the few governments to voice the opinions of the oppressed against the US hegemony, and against Israeli crimes.” I doubt someone who actually knows America or even lives there wrote this article–few Americans, unless they are Arabs, sympathize with Iran!

Ajit Thanks for another important set of facts that matter for people who really see the greater threats to the humanity than many others worrying about kitchen fights. Refer two comments by Heshan, I doubt whether they are up to date. I am not someone living in US and never will. But I see the facts presented in this article are more accurate than what Heshan tries to portray.

I recently had a first hand experience of listening to a claim by a Zionist as they are the chosen people to rule the world. Obviously I see a similarity of such claims with the cartoon “Pinky and the Brain”. However, there is a bigger picture than that caused by Migrants including many those coming from Jewish backgrounds. For migrants, only worthy thing is the cultural baggage they carry to the host country. They have contributed to the disappearance or near-disappearance of every great and mighty civilisation by slowly and gradually taking over the positions of influence of the host nations, but without the local values that kept locals within the loop, ultimately contributing to spiral things out of control with disastrous consequences. Only Sinhala speaking migrants do the opposite to this trend, who have become the saviours of dying empires, sometimes to the detriment of the world at large.

What happens in US today has many similarities with what happened in pre-WW2 Germany due to the influence of this particular ethnic migrants who carry the belief to become the rulers of the world by piggy backing on unsuspecting major powers. Everyone knows that concepts of Communism, Socialism and Capitalism have roots in Jewish ethnic value system. US benefited most by Capitalism inspired by this group that led to ruthlessly exploit the world and its peoples, now returning to haunt them. The German politics before WW2 were a direct result of the local response to migrants who took up rich and powerful positions in the system, giving the primed up belief that they are a high and mighty country, a false sense, to pay a very heavy price to realise the truth. Anyone who knows a little bit about US is well aware that most of the high and mighty places are taken up by migrants who have little or no value that made the common people in that part of the English-built colony. Obviously, this particular ethnic group is very influential and try their best to carry out their original ideals through the powers of the host nation that has a large labour force ready to do anything for money. In fact, they have already guided the host nation to commit irreparable damage to their own standing with grave consequences. As it appears, they have realised belatedly the direction that had taken and are attempting to find a way out, a fact clearly visible form their recent conduct including how they responded to the visit by the Jewish leadership. Unfortunately, they are over-committed just like the Germans to go back and live a normal life because of the hype they lived in for a long time inspired by the great manipulations of the migrants. If what I am hearing is correct, coming from their own hand picked local elite, they have totally lost the course in Iraq and Afghanistan. But the baggage of death and destruction will be the only achievement that will someday bring the wrath of gods.

The Iran issue is essentially a century-old effort to isolate the Russian bear to grab its resources. I took the time to write this comment as there are serious concerns on the consequences of this migrant-created crisis having the potential to see another great war that will change the world forever. Unfortunately, it could be better than the direction that we are heading now with the influences of this illusive migrant dream. Those who dream to rule the world most likely would not leave even a trace if that happens. I hardly understand why there are humans with such horrible suicidal ambitions that make them to ignore the suffering endured for very long historical periods to learn and adjust. Having said that, Tamil migrants in Lanka have a similar ambition, which ran amok when they were considered invincible, leading to claims to almost every part of earth. I wish all those silly dreamers should wake up and see the real world to come to their senses, or face the consequences that are overdue.

Editor, thank you for removal of rating system, a western device used to profile readership for profit and other more cynical purposes. Being a site clearly above profiteering and with no ads, I wondered about what your intentions were. But I appreciate feedback provisions that give an opportunity to air the reader response.
