DHL Global Forwarding appoints Najeeb-ur Rahman as Country Manager for Sri Lanka

Colombo, 5th May 2010: DHL Global Forwarding, the worldƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢sƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ leading air and ocean freight company, today announced that Najeeb-ur Rahman will take over as Country Manager of DHL Global Forwarding with effect from 1st April 2010.
Najeeb brings with him extensive experience and knowledge in operations management, business development & strategic focus. With 25 years experience in the logistics arena, Najeeb has been responsible for many innovations within the industry. He has built a team of exceptional professionals who are well conversant with the continually changing demands on an industry that is fundamental to the success of any player in the global market.
In March 2009, DHL formally announced the joint venture with long standing partner Capitol AEI to form DHL Global Forwarding Lanka. Najeeb was previously the CEO of Capitol AEI.
