Recently MIA has got into spats not only with New York Time Magazine’s Lynn Hirschberg but also with many others includingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ me for her pro-Tamil Tiger incendiary lyrics without being honest with facts.

May be, when you want to sell your music such honesty is notƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ factored in asƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ important.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ When her lyrics does not have a “WOW” factor, I suppose thatƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ is the reason why sheƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ got into trouble with American hip-hop artist DeLon who dissed her brilliantly with a remixed version of her song “Paper Planes” which was shown on the You-Tube.

MIA had no qualms about using Twitter to express her distaste to fire at NYT Magazine’s contributor Lynn Hirschberg, perhaps she would keep the calm in our society if she keeps away from Sri Lankan Tamil Tiger politics which she knows absolutely nothing of, and stick to music what she isƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ good at, sans interpreting Tamil Tiger terrorism which has been banned in Sri Lanka where she was brought up as a child, banned in the UK which she was brought up in her teen-years and in US where she is domiciled presently.

What is depressing about MIA is that she is mouthing off in her lyrics about her supposed to be suffering Tamil people in the North of Sri Lanka’s while snacking on olive bread, eating truffle-flavoured French fries and sipping glasses of wine with millions of dollars stashed away in her bank account,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and not sending a single penny to improve the quality of life of the people whom she pretends to care about.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ That is hypocrisy in my eyes..
