ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Tamil Tiger Cadres on board the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”MV Sun SeaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ headed for Canada

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ We are writing to draw your attention to the recent media reports concerning a second vessel named the MV Sun Sea carrying Tamil Tiger terrorist cadres and others, earlier destined for Australia, which later changed course and is currently headed towards the west coast of Canada.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ 

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ A group of 76 persons earlier arrived in BC aboard The Ocean Lady, a name spray painted on a ship registered as the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”EaswaryƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ on October 16, 2009, and were released from detention despite a determination by the Canadian Border Services Agency that a third of them were middle ranked fighters of the banned Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam(LTTE).ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The ship belonged to the LTTEƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s merchant marine unit which used to smuggle narcotics and weapons, and is today being used to smuggle the surviving members of the Tamil Tiger fighting apparatus to a refugee receiving country such as Canada, where the terror network has already established several fronts over the last 25 years to fund their war machine.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ In the Washington Post report of August 4, 2010 filed by John Pomfret, James Clad, the former US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for South and Southeast Asia is quoted as having said that the boat was an attempt by the Tamil Tigers to ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-create a network again and play the trans-national terrorist game.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  I am not an advocate for sending people back to their death, but that is just not happening in Sri Lanka.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  IƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ve helped a lot of migrants before, but I know a scam when I see one.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  More ships are waiting to sail to Canada with surviving LTTE fighters once the MV Sun Sea docks and clears the way for others, also funded by the ill-gotten gains of Tamil Tiger terror network.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The arrival of shiploads of Tamil Tiger trained cadres to Canada would result in the continuation of the extortion game where Canadian Tamils will be forced to contribute for the maintenance of these ex-combatants with a view to re-group and secretly transfer them to the jungles of Sri Lanka to resume the guerrilla warfare in pursuit of a mono-ethnic Tamil separate state to be carved out of Sri Lanka.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  We are aware that the Canadian Tamils have recently elected 25 members to a Trans-National Government of Tamil Eelam (TGTE), to advance the same goal of the Tamil Tigers.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The pro-LTTE Canadian Tamil Diaspora and like minded Tamils residing in western countries have been engaged in a disinformation campaign to lobby western nations to take various measures including trade embargoes and other sanctions against Sri Lanka in order destabilise that country which has finally restored peace and democracy after over three decades of terrorist violence, and is making efforts to reconcile all of her constituent communities and uplift the standards of living of her people.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ We trust that you would act in a manner which ensures CanadaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s own security and also prevents groups such as the pro-LTTE Diaspora Tamils from using Canadian soil to export terrorist violence to Sri Lanka or other part of the world.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
