You reported that “More to be done, Obama says”,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and this is five years after the Gulf Coast was hit by Hurricane Katrina. People are still waiting to be sent to their homes and children are still attend classes in trailers, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ “and there are too many New Orleanians…who haven’t been able to come home”,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Obama said.

What, is this for real?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ I thought the Americans new it all when they wanted puny Sri Lanka to let go the 300,000 Tamils they rescued from the clutches of the Tamil Tiger terrorists a week after they were accommodated in Welfare Camps.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ They were callous, like most Canadians wanting to let these TamilsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ walk out onƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ to the ‘Land of Tamil Tiger landmines’ where 300,000 have been defused by the Sri Lankan armed forces so far.

I am sure the President of Sri Lanka, Mahinda Rajapaksa must be having the last laugh and under his breath telling the Americans and Canadian who bludgeoned Sri Lanka with baseball bats and hockey sticks, “come to me and I will tell you how to look after your people, as I have rebuilt houses and sentƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ home 270,000 Tamils out of the 300,000 who were rescued in May 2009. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The North and EastƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ are now been developed in a feverish rate, businesses are booming, tourists areƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ arrivingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in the North and East in droves, theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ farmers are farming and children are going to school and the rehabilitated child soldiers are now sitting for exams to enter University and Medical College, and the elderly and pregnant mothers are well looked after in medical clinics.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ And all this after 27 years of a Tamil Tiger war.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ There was no genocide the way you people accused us of, and we are looking after the Tamils well, as they are our people and not like you people who left countless men, women and children abandoned and alone after Hurricane Katrina which happened five years ago.”ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
