Internationally popular and widely participated weekly Buddhist Dhamma phone conference in Sinhala is humbly achieving to its one hundred fiftieth successful milestone on this Saturday the 25th of September 2010. This most precious and useful phone conference has been in operation for the last three years and hundreds of listeners and participants around the world have obtained a rare service through this noble program.

This Saturday Dhamma conference will be a super special event as a most renounced monk will be conducting the session.  Most Ven. Dr. Madawela Punnaji Thero of Buddhist Maha Vihara, Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia who is currently visiting Samatha Meditation Center in Edmonton, Canada will be delivering the Dhamma Deshana on “Why Buddhism is not an Atheistic Philosophy?”


Following the sermon, the listeners can conveniently join to the discussion by asking questions or expressing their views or opinions. This great opportunity allows the participants specially laymen to receive simple and complete answers to their questions and to improve their knowledge in Noble Dhamma. Venerable monks from USA, Canada, Sri Lanka, Australia and other countries participate as panelists other than to the laymen.

The weekly phone conference is scheduled to take place on Saturdays beginning at 7.00 pm (EST) and will be conducting through 9.00 pm (EST) corresponding to Sunday 4.30 am through 6.30 am Sri Lankan time.

The participants can join the conference either by the telephone or using the Skype (totally free). Please see below for the directions of participation;

Participants using Telephones:
1. Dial the conference bridge number (+1-201-793-9022 when dialing from USA or Canada; Please refer to the attached message for other international phone numbers)
2. Enter the Conference Room Number (“8980674”) followed by # when prompted
3. Enter the Security Code (“342662” or “DHAMMA”) followed by # when prompted

Participants using Skype:
1. Dial +9900827048980674 using Skype’s Call Phones feature [Please note that this call is totally free!  You do NOT need Skype callout credits to make this call]
2. Input the Security Code (“342662”) followed by # on the Skype dial pad when prompted.  [Please note that if you are using Skype V or later, the security code needs to be entered on the dial pad that appears right next to the Skype volume control bar, and not on call phones keypad]
