Concerned Muslim

These wahabi/thau/salafi/ thouheed jamath (whatever name they call or are referred to) rascals need to be severely dealt with since they are division creators and are problem makers wherever they go.

ƒÆ’‚£ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¡‚¬The Sri LankanƒÆ’‚£ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¡‚¬government must thoroughly monitor these groups since they can be the next emerging terrorists in this peaceful paradise island. They can sure be linked to groups like Al Qaeda & Jamathul Islam and also have financial support from such groups to carry on their stupid activities inƒÆ’‚£ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¡‚¬Sri LankaƒÆ’‚£ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¡‚¬which can be very dangerous to the territorial integrity & sovereignity of this country after 30 years of war with LTTE.

I hope the Sri Lankan intelligence agencies will have a very close eye on these groups and all their nefarious activities. They operate in rural Muslim areas as well.

ISLAM means PEACE & SRI LANKA is a PEACEFUL country. Also whatever that happens in Saudi Arabia cannot be taken as an example and practiced in Sri Lanka, since this is a majority Buddhist country and Muslims have been living here very peacefully centuries after centuries with the majority Buddhist and other religions & communities.

And Muslims have been enjoying the freedom to hold annual FEASTS & MEELAD /BIRTH of (PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAL) CELEBRATION in all MOSQUES,THAKKIYAS, AND OTHER PUBLIC VENUES since time immemorial. Therefore, these wahabis with the influx of few extra foreign money into their hands are trying to carry on their nonsense here for which not any single right thinkingƒÆ’‚£ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¡‚¬Muslim will let these wahabis scot free to do their work, this is the beginning of the end for all wahabis in Sri Lanka.

    Imran Zahir:
You say “Condemning another sect of Islam, or any other persons belief’s regardless of one’s own opinion is completely wrong, firstly as a Muslim, secondly as a law abiding person.” That’s well and good, but what do you say about the following verses in the Koran. 8:12, 3:28, 8:65, 9:5, 9:14, 9:23, 9:28, 9:123, 47:4. If a devoted Muslim read those verses would he not become a fanatic? And, there are many more of such verses in the Koran.

I must say; I am not an authority in Islam, only an avid reader about contemporary religions. So, on and off during the last five years, I have read enough about the God of Abraham and all his prophets.

From what I read, angel Gabriel read the word of ‘One God’ in the desert to a Jew named Abraham, first. All subsequent prophets of that ‘One God’ were Jews. So, Jews believe that they are the children of their ‘One God’, and the book called Torah etc has the word of God. Nowhere in Torah does it say ‘One God’ coming as human or a last prophet to come (a non-Jew for that matter). But Christians say Jesus is ‘One God’ and his word is in the New Testament. Christians also believe the Jews’ Bible too has the word of God. But neither Jews nor Muslims contribute to Jesus being God. To them, he is a mare Prophet. Muslims believe Muhammad is the ‘last prophet’ and what God read him through angel Gabriel to him is in the Koran.

This term ‘last prophet’ has brought great interpretations. It means there will be no more prophets and no more of angel Gabriel and no more word from ‘One God’. Dr. Zakir Naik, a medical doctor, a Muslim scholar and a great orator said in the ‘Peace TV’ that what other Prophets said was only applicable locally for a particular time period whereas, the word of God in Koran is valid forever and to the entire world. Did not Dr. Naik nullify both Judaism and Christianity in one stroke? If so, would it not lead to lead to intolerance by the original followers of the same God?
