There is one Canadian who understands the Tamil ship illegal migrant refugee scam is Martin

How true.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It is a no brainer to figure out why these Tamils by pass Tamil Nadu in India their Motherland where 61 million Tamils live and many other countries in between Sri Lanka and CanadaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and land on our shores.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It is our lucrative welfare system.

These Tamils are not stupid as they know that Canada is the goose that keeps laying golden eggs for them;ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the country that pays welfare cheques starting at $585 a month when converted to Sri Lankan rupees is 58,000, which is a fortune in Sri Lankan terms and 10,000 more rupees thanƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ what aƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sri Lankan diplomat is paid, whileƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ stationed in Colombo.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ And to sweeten their call to come to CanadaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ they are offeredƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ welfare housing, medical services, andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ a free legal aid system to fight their cases in court to let them stay back, and of course,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ their childrenƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ will receiveƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ free post-secondary school educationƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ These Tamils are laughing!ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ They got the best,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ so why not jump theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ refugee queue.

They are smart to know that couples with children under 6 years of age could also apply for the Universal Child Care benefit each month for each child.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ They also know that they are also eligible for a federal Child Tax Benefit and the National Child Benefit Supplement which they could not get in Sri Lanka.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ So who wouldn’t want to come to Canada and be with Canada’s nice people, even though they know that most are sometimes naive.

These Tamils are also good at simple arithmetic.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ They know that a couple with one child can get $327.66 per month as child care benefits on top of $1,058 under the Ontario welfare system and that Scarborough and Markham where they will eventually will end upƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ are indeed cities in the Province of Ontario.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

These Tamils also know that once they receive their Canadian passport that they can get on the first flight out of Canada with no questions asked by the Canadian authorities, to return to Sri Lanka for holidays and visit relatives, the country that they ran away saying that they were persecuted.

As Martin Collacott says, so “They will keep coming”, even though with peace in Sri Lanka there is no need for these Tamils to say thatƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ they are being persecuted as thousands of refugees from the camps in India are returning home according to the reports by the UNHRC.

Can we refer to these self proclaimed “persecuted refugees” as “Welfare Refugees?”? If what Asoka says is correct about the way the Canadian welfare system operates, then isn’t it far more lucrative to migrate as a “persecuted refugee” than a genuine migrant through legal channels? Also, the network of Tamil Translators and Refugee Lawyers and church leaders will ensure that they communicate to the Canadian Authorities, only what is acceptable to be considered as a refugee and not what the refugees themselves actually tell in Tamil. I believe the British and Australian welfare systems are similar, but as the officials in these two countries seems to be a little bit smarter than the Canadians, the majority of these “Welfare Refugees”, from around the world and not only from SriLanka, obviously prefers Canada.

If someone looks into who are the illegal migrants who are fleeing the Tamil Homeland Tamil Nadu, I bet you will find they are the Tamils with no caste or Dalit origin. For a very long time the upper caste Tamils have encouraged those of Dalit origin to leave Tamil Nadu and leave it for the Caste Tamils. That is why everywhere you look there are Tamils migrants, whether it is Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Fiji, Mauritius, South Africa, Australia, Canada they are by and large the people of Tamil Dalit origin. They are fleeing 3000 years of institutionalized slavery in their own country by the caste Tamils.
Tamils who migrate claim they are from Sri Lanka even if they come from Tamil Nadu and complain about discrimination by the Sinhlese. How about discrimination in Tamil Nadu it self by the caste Tamils against the Dalits?
In Sri Lanka Free Education (including University), has been granted to all citizens of Lanka, including ALL TAMIL PEOPLE, together with Free Health Care, since Independence in 1948. Also, in the three States of India adjoining Tamil Nadu have the following languages :
(i) Andra Pradesh – Languages most spoken are Telagu, Urdu, Hindi, Banjara & English.
(ii) Kerala – Malayalam, English, Advasi, Tamil
(iii) Karnataka (Mysore) – Kannada, Tulu, Kodava, Takk, Konkani
In whole world, it is only in Tamil Nadu & Sri Lanka (which is not a part of India), that Tamil is an official language.
We can thus see that the Tamil people of Lanka have been fairly treated by successive governments since Independence in 1948. It is the demand for a separate State by Tamil Leaders (from as early as 1930’s), that has led to disharmony & clashes between the two communities. Tamil people should not grudge the Sinhala people their rightful place in society after some 500 yrs of foreign domination. Unfair advantages that Tamil people had during British rule had to be removed for the masses of Lanka to move forward.
What do these ‘Sri Lankan refugees’ carry as ID papers ? Do they carry UNHRC cards issued to them through the UN, as do the so-called displaced Tamils during the Eelam war ? This means anyone carrying UNHRC cards in Tamil Nadu automatically becomes a ‘Sri Lankan Tamil refugee’. In order to enter Australia or any other country, these Tamil refugees have to have a ‘story’ against the people of Sri Lanka & the GoSL. What a cycle ! Is there no end to this ? When will the lies and cheat and deceit end.
Most Tamils in Lanka say ‘Look at the Root Cause’. The Root Cause is the one stated above and it all starts in Tamil Nadu, not Sri Lanka.
