Hi Patriots.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ I think its high time we Patriotic Sri Lankans become “Proactive” instead of being Reactive in this situation. It is apparent that the defeat of the murderous tiger terrorists have united a majority of Sri Lankans under the Lion flag and brought out the patriotism towards their motherland. I say “majority” of Sri Lankans because there are also those maggots out there who claim to be Sri Lankans but are totally unpatriotic to their motherland and would even sell their own mothers for their own benefit. From the events in the recent past we know and have identified who they are. Some of these fellows are directly involved in conspiracies against our motherland and there are others who “Camaflouged“ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ against the backdrop of the political arena in Sri Lanka who are creating even more problems for the government and the nation as a whole. We know who these traitors are as well – and what they have been upto and are still upto.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ I think its extremely necessary for us Patriotic Sri Lankans – living both in Sri Lanka and abroad – to form ONE single association to counter the effects of anti-Sri Lankan activities of these traitors and the enemy posing off as co-called diasporas in other countries. I would love to see someone taking the leadership and discussing such a move with the government and forming this association which needs to be headed by prominent Sri Lankan professionals. My recommendation would be to talk to Mr Lalith Weeratunga – The President’s Secretary – who I am certain will welcome such a move.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

- Members of the Foreign service / Ambassadors / Consuls (past and present)
- Members of Business associations / Chambers of Commerce
- Student organizations
- Media (all)

One of the important objective of this association will be to identify and maintain a strict vigil on those organizations and individuals who are involved in Anti-Sri Lankan activities and report their activities to the authorities – i.e. to the Sri Lankan government channeled through this association. This association and the government can then create a data-base with this information – and the respective Embassies and Consulates at those locations can follow up and scrutinize the activities of these individuals / organizations further.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

However, the main objective of this Association would have to be to maintain very close and friendly ties with the authorities and other interest groups of these foreign countries – especially those nations that still harbor the remnants of the tamil tiger terrorists and those sympathetic toward them – and provide them with the true situation in Sri Lanka and the barbaric activities that had been unleashed by the tiger terrorists in Sri Lanka. I suggest that this association closely liaise with the following groups within those foreign nations :

I HATE TO BE THE DAMP SQUID BUT AS SOON AS THIS PATRIOTIC ASSOCIATION (TEAM) IS SET UP THEN BEGINS THE ACCUMULATION OF FUNDS (CASH) AND THE PATRIOTIC MR. TEN PERCENT WILL WANT HIS CUT. PLEASE INQUIRE FROM PEOPLE IN THE KNOW & WHO HAD TO DOLE OUT!
BUT CHEER UP THAT’S WHAT WE HAVE GOT AN ELECTED DEMORACTIC GOVERNMENT (FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, ETC., ETC.,) TO SAFE GUARD THE COUNTRY & ITS CITIZENS IN ALL QUARTERS AND PROVIDE GOOD GOVERNANCE, EXECUTE A GOOD BUDGET, UTLIZE THE TREASURY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PEOPLE AND DO AWAY WITH NON-PATRIOTS, MEDDLING MEDIA, TRAITORS, AND TERRORISTS. If accusations are made, it should be followed with proof, or else we cannot believe it.
Any Democratic form of government will have to give out the work to some one, and the parties left out will growl in disappointment. That is how it is, all over the world.

Mr. Dev de Silva : Your idea is not very original. There are organizations already abroad doing this work. The list of people you have given are the most likely to contain Traitors and inefficient public oficials who are only interested in self preservation. You have completely forgotten the general public who are the biggest stakeholders of a peaceful and properous Sri Lanka. If you look around most of the trouble makers and anti Government elements come from within the group you suggested. I suggest in Sri Lanka you form non connected groups at the village level to observe and report to the designated government officials of any anti national activities and let the proper authorities follow it from there. Tracking and following up of anti-national activities is the duty of the proper government officials. The most ordinary people should do is to pass on any information they have to the authorities. I believe the general public has been very helpful to the authorities in catching Terrorists already. This existing system should be improved upon.
