The massive victory achieved by the UPFA at the local government electionƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  is directly linked to ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the enormous popularity of the President Mahinda Rajapakse.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The President is unstoppableƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  and will be further encouraged by the endorsement of his policies by the vast majority of Sri Lankans.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Never before in the history of Sri Lanka a political leader had great milestones repeatedly and virtually destroyed the opposition.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The realization of the general public that theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  President is with the common manƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  addressing day-to-day issues has brought about a closer bond between the President and the ordinary citizens of this beautiful country of ours.

Today Sri Lanka is a free country.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Fathers and mothers can go to workƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  and plan their future knowing very well that there children are safe.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  There is no more need for mothers to wait outside school gates for 7 hours, five days a week, to pick up their children.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  There is no more need to have any fear to travel toƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  any part of Sri Lanka . There is no more need to fear that at any time office buildings, shopping centres, places of worship will be bombed by terrorists. The Defence Secretary Dr GotabhayaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Rajapakse is man with immaculate planning skills.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  He implement his own plans with absolute precision with or without vernier calipers. A practising Buddhist in every sense of the word, a man who is not a fortune hunter, a man humble and down to earth, a man who fear no one, we Salute you Sir Gotabhaya Rajapakse.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Massive inflow of direct foreign investments into the country is a clear indication that large conglomerates have realized that there is minimum risk in doing business in Sri Lanka. With highly intelligent, hardworking, bilingual labour force in Sri Lanka combined with vast deposits of unexploited resources, Sri LankaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  is a heaven for foreign capital investment.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  With long term political stability guaranteed, Sri Lanka will be a major economic and financial hub in the sub-continent.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Major international insurance firms and brokers have taken into account the ground situation in Sri Lanka and as such the insurance premiums have been substantially lowered due to minimization of risk mitigation factors.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

The cost of living is a major issue at the moment.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  But ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-the cost of living is not worse than a LTTE BombƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚, the person who made such a comment has been shown the exit gate at the local government elections, thus adding to a ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ long list of unending defeats to the Clayton Leader of Opposition, Rt Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The UNP has come to the third place in the election results, demonstrating the rejection of the United National Party by the voters.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The JVP has lost its previously held Pradeshiya Sabha of Tissamaharamaya and has lost the touch of the common man.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Mr Sarath Fonseka must be a happy man watching all these dramas from his prison cell.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Has he been a free man, his party DNAƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  too would have participated in the election.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The general public did not get that opportunity to send a clear message to the mis-guided former General.

Western media is against the Rajapakse regime.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Namal Rajapakse is coming under extreme scrutiny, realizing that it is just a matter of time for him to advance to the highest Office in Sri Lanka.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Planning for leadership succession is vital, without which several years of hard work of the President Mahinda Rajapakse will be ruined within few years and the country will be back once again to the darker periods of yester-years.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

Long live President Mahinda Rajapakse!

Jayawewa Sri Lanka Matha!
