You said, “Harper stops short of defending Paranchothy saying only his government has banned the Tigers. But Soudas is unequivocal that Gavan Paranchothy has no ties to the Tigers.”

I don’t buy that explanation, not even for a bag of toffee. Gavan Paranchothy is the ConservativeƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ candidate for the Scarborough Southwest riding.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Gavan ParanchothyƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ was until recentlyƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Ragavan Paranchothy, who was the Canadian that KP, the Tamil Tiger Selvarajah Pathmanathan was speakingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ to on the phone when he was picked up from a Kauala Lumpur hotel and whisked back to Sri Lanka and is now underƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the custody of the Sri Lankan Government.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ KP ran the Tamil Tiger arms and narcotics smuggling operations and was the international arms dealer providing arms for the Eelam WarƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and ace racketeer, and wasƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the Head ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the Tamil Tiger chief’s International Relations Department,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ who INTERPOL was after.

Ragavan Paranchothy according to reports hosted broadcasts on Tamil Vision International Television and Canadian Multicultural Radio in Toronto and just last November hosted a televised tribute to the Tamil Tigers that Canada banned in 2006.

For the Conservative to now say that he has no ties to the Tigers is a far cry which I don’t buy.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ This is how the cookie crumbles when the Conservatives started to flirt with the Tamil Tiger sympathisers wanting the Tamil votes toƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ topple in LiberalsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ from their ridings in the GTA.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Unfortunately, the Conservatives are now caught in a web of deceit which they cannot wriggle out of.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ This is unfortunate as I saw it coming.
