Gadaffi, Bin LAden & Tamil Tigers

When the Sri Lankan Air Force bombed & killed a Tamil Tiger terrorist leader, Tamil Chevan, in 2007/8 the West condemned the action.
One Canadian MP even attended the wake for him in Toronto organized by the Tigers there.
But attempts on Gadaffi’s life killing one of his sons & grandchildren is acceptable !
When the Tamil Tiger terrorist leadership was ‘put out of business’ in May 2009 the West was outraged ; no congratulations to Sri Lanka but the beginning of a smear campaign against Sri Lanka on civilian casualties, alleged killing of Tiger surrendees etc etc.
It is ok to kill an unarmed Bin Laden & shoot his unarmed wife ; the beefy seals couldn’t tackle her.

In Europe, these two incidents are observed, measured and judged by two different standards. LTTE was a instrument to destroy Sri Lanka and India. The idea espoused by some Western nations was to create a independent Eelam, which would be grateful by giving them navel bases. In 1980s and 1990s, successive Indian administrations made short sighted game plans. West was smarter. If Sri Lanka was be broken up, naturally the next target is Tamil Nadu. The war for Tamil Nadu could be staged from Eelam. If one piece of India can be destabilized, whole region would engulf in generational warfare.
Just think of massive arms sales, destruction of number of emerging nations and curtailing Indian power. Three birds with one stone. Unfortunately for the West, they had underestimated Sri Lankan leadership, people and armed forces. For Canadians, Tamil Chelvam was a pawn in their side of the chess board. For Sri Lankans he was a uneducated barber out of his depth. This uneducated barber was the emergency replacement for Prabakaran. His disarming smile was a diplomatic bonus. His face did not tell the story. This was a murderous cut throat. His death was heart breaking for terror financiers.
Libyan situation is very different. Libya has 2% of worlds oil which is regarded highest in quality. It has a small population. If the West is able to kill half million Libyans, they could install a puppet and steal these resources. The nations which are whole heartedly supporting this war ( France, Italy, Portugal,Spain) are in financial dire straights. This free oil could support their economies for next twenty years.

LTTE and Tamil Diaspora enjoy Destroying Tamil and Sinhalese. LTTE get benefit from Diaspora Tamils.
Persons behind LTTE are not interested in Politics they need wealth only. Because of the above reasons
LTTE are dangerous only for Srilanka and India. LTTE is like an animal which eat own meat. Western countries
keep these peoples to play a politcal Game only.

Canadian MP’s, whose greed for ‘votes’ and ‘campaign money’ from Tamil expatriates overcame their rational thinking, are now in a pretty good funk: The Tamils themselves are now competing for the Canadian Parliament! Recently, a ltte-supporter was elected to the Canadian parliament. Hopefully now, the Canadians will finally see the threat these people pose to them, and how cunningly they move about to propagate their separatist agendae. With nearly half-a-million Tamil terror-supporters in Toronto alone, the Canadians appear to have dug themselves into a deep hole.
