The News report outlines details aboutƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Rajaratnam’sƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ culpability of operating an elaborate insider tradingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ scheme through his Galleon Group hedge fund, which made him one of the wealthiest men in America with an estimated net worth of $1.3 billion.The case against Rajaratnam and the five others indicted alleges that they netted over $25 million in profits and marked the first time, a court authorized wire taps were used in a hedge fund case which eventually exposed the scam.
While Mr.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ RajaratnamƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ of Sri Lankan originƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ is alsoƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ charged with fundingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ more than $3.5 million to the Tamil Rehabilitation Organization (TRO), whose assets were frozen by the U.S. Treasury Department in Nov. 2007 because ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ alleged ties to the Tamil Tigers according to documents filed with the Internal Revenue ServiceƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ (IRS),ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Rajaratnam’s contributions to the TRO were reportedly made in 2005 and 2006 through a separate charity, which he founded in the wake of the tsunami which hit Sri Lanka in Dec. 2004 but appears to haveƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ been aƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ front which was chanelling funds for the ongoingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ terrorist campaign of the Tamil Tigers at the time.
The Tamil Tigers waged a bloody insurgency against the Government of Sri Lanka in which both sides were accused of civilian attrocities by so called high profile accusersƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ where one needs to differentiate the application of the term attrocities and its greaterƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ implications to the terrorists as opposed to a Sovereign Nation in defence of territorial integrity and the protection of her citizens from terrorists.

Rajaratnam and his wife were also major contributors to a number of Democratic campaigns, giving a total of $118,000 to, among others, the Senate campaigns of Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer and the presidential campaigns of Mrs. Clinton and Barack Obama.
“He was big with Hillary and then jumped over to Obama after Hillary lost,” said one Democratic party figure involved in fundraising.
Associates of Rajaratnam formed a Tamils for Clinton fund raising group for her presidential campaign and sought her help in getting the Tamil Tigers taken off the Stte Department’s Designated Terror List.
“You shouldn’t lump all terrorists together,” Sen. Clinton said in 2007. Members of the Tamils for Clinton met with former President bill Clinton in Dec. 2007 to press their case.
Rajaratnam is also a major trustee of the American India Foundation, which is a member of the Clinton Global Initiative. President Clinton is the Foundation’s honorary chair, and has publicly thanked Rajaratnam and his wife for their multi-million dollar support.
Nagaratnam Ranjithan, the President of the U.S. branch of TRO, told ABC News in 2008 that his organization has nothing to do with terrorism: “I think we got into trouble because we did so much work after the tsunami, and the Sri Lankan government was not all appreciative of it. The people are suffering because we have a few people who told us to stop.”
Ranjithan’s home was raided by the FBI in 2006 because of his ties to TRO.
Paraphrasing Gordon Gecko, the fictional character from the 1987 film “Wall Street” by director Oliver Stone, Bharara said, “greed, sometimes, is not good.”U.S. Attorney for Southern District of New York Preet Bharara called the hedge fund insider trading case brought by his office today, “the largest hedge fund insider trading case ever charged.”

Western countries never had enemies, they desperately create enemies, then they can invade countries and persistently destroy those countries. Sri lanka is good example, sri lanka did not do any ham to west but they cheated Sri lanka stabbed behind. they practiced this all over the world in every 10, 20, 30, 40 years of covert operation. This will continue until a big civil war begin in Europe and North America. This can be avoided if western public begin to realized that there is a fascist govt in the west run by spies and take action against these spies, and if western public continuously allow these spies to run their countries, then these spies bring west into a bloody war like Hitler’s war.
May be some western public believe that their govts and spies are powerful and others can’t counter them when they commit crimes, but that is not always true. There is a huge Muslim population grow in the west and they believe that western and or western based spies supply ammunition to local groups to destroy countries like Pakistan. and What they believe is true, for a example Sri lanka.

This is the proof I was looking for. I was always suspected that the LTTE terrorist organisation was secretly funded by a hidden Hand. The tamil diaspora in my opinion is not rich enough to fund a terrorist organisation like the LTTE. I always suspected that International bankers in Wall Street and especially City of London. Funds all these terrorist organisations Like Al Qaeda and LTTE. For a secret globalist agenda of destabalisation. Raj Rajaratnam was their goto middle man, I have no doubt that Raj Rajaratnam was picked by these evil international bankers, built him up made galleon company a force to be reckoned with on wall street. Also I have no doubt Al Qaeda and LTTE were created the British MI6 and American CIA. CIA is an extension of MI6. This issue goes much deeper than a simple conflict between sinhalese and tamils only restricted to the borders of Sri Lanka its much much bigger than that. Our world is run by a very dark force at the top that hates humanity.
