Mr. Gordon Weiss, the Spokesman for the United Nations in Sri Lanka during the end of war on terror, made claim to his fifteen-minutes of fame recently:ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Grand publicity was given to the ceremonious signing of his new book.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ However, there had been a little fly-in-the-ointment in Mr. WeissƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s ceremony:ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
During a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Question and AnswerƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ section, a Sri Lankan patriot, well-versed with Mr. WeissƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s attitude and bias against the Sri Lankan government, had asked him why, if the Sri LankanƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Government had indeed committed any massacre during the last stages of the war, why did he, Gordon Weiss, as the UN spokesperson in Sri Lanka kept silent?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Our patriot had then stated the UN must also be held responsible for all the allegations he had made in his book!ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The revered Mr. Weiss had been stumbling for excuses, and had mustered something to the extent that he never stated of any Tamil genocide in his book.
Thanks to this patriot, Mr. Weiss and his fellow Tamil refugee lobby had not been able to make their usual whimpers against Sri Lanka.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Thank you, very much, Sir!ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sri Lanka needs people like you.

Looks like Sri Lankans are taking on the challenge head on. There is another news item here from The Island about how Gen Shavendra Silva went out of his way and took Channel 4 clowns head on much to their dismay. He has done his noble duty exceptionally well. This is in addition to that.
Yet another news item talks of Siri H. taking BBC, etc. to task.
After all its not the reconciliation buffoons who are batting for the nation effectively but humble hardworking people mostly voluntarily. Sounds all too familiar.

It is well known that money changed hands in many issues. LTTE mastered the art Long time ago. I wish we hire investigators to find out their assests and spies to find out what they are up to. Honestly I do not think there is a single european or any members of AI, HRW etc who are not in it for money. I dont thinkw e have option other than doing the same (as we did in copying LTTE and beating them in their own game in the war)

Gordon Weiss is the first to come out with the fictitios figure of 40,000 civilians dead in the last stage of the war. The UN at the time disassociated with his comments and stuck to the UN estimate of 7000. However, doctors and hospitals that treated the injured during the war have stated less than 1500 civilians killed. The International Red Cross who were at the scene throughout the conflict, are not on record giving any figure. The SriLankan Govt has outright rejected Gordon Weiss estimate and have accused him of deliberate lying.
Two things that need to be done if the world wants to combat terrorism are,
(a) compel groupes like the LTTE to declare their resources and make them submit audited statements to the respective Governments where they are allowed to operate, under the LTTE name or any other name;
(b) investigate why people like Gordon Weiss, Brad Adams, Dowd and all those NGOs, journalists and Politicians, are so passionately involved in condemning the SriLankan Govt with fabricated allegations and at the same time ignore the heinous crimes committed by the LTTE diaspora through their agent the LTTE in SriLanka.

They uses skill full tactic to keep off western public. Otherwise, Western public ask them why are smuggling Tamil from India?. Tamil have India. India went to war with Sri lanka to fight for Tamil. India way big country. These are question Western public have for them. They used various tactic to hide the true story to western public and constantly put down Sri lanka thru propaganda. Here is some example; when Sri lanka says Sri lanka has 2500 years history, they say Tamil were there for 250 millions of years, when Sri lanka says Sri lanka has 1 billions years of history, they say Tamil have 10 trillions of history, when 10 Tamil Civilians are killed, they say 10 million Tamil were killed.

Gorden Weise has a private problem. He used to get one Tamil woman a day. UN knew this and quickly disassociated from him.
He has AIDS.
