22nd July 2011 a Friday started as an ordinary day. It was drizzling and wet in Oslo; so the Frogner Park tour, which we had planned to do, was cancelled. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The day before had been warm and sunny and nice, and we expected it to continue until Friday. But overnight the weather had turned gloomy, cloudy and worse, wet. So I somehow dragged myself out into the TV room and switched on the NRK 1channel, which is the State run TV channel. The time was just 4.15 PM.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The images depicted on the screen were nothing special. The war torn landscape, which my eyes met, was familiar. I assumed it must be another terror attack on a city such as Bagdad, Beirut or even Colombo. And I was fast losing interest and about to change the channel when the announcer declared that ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”terroristsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ have exploded a bomb in the governmentƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s administrative quarter in the heart of Oslo. The information hit me like a ton of bricks. I took a second look and watched with growing horror what was unravelling before my very eyes. For the bomb that was detonated was no further than 6 to 7 minutes walk from my flat. As I lay slumbering and in a half-drugged haze, terror has stuck in my very back garden.

I was transfixed to the idiot box for the next hours as the drama of horror unfolded. The commentator was informing that a bomb has been detonated that afternoon around 3.27 PM, and was the regionƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s bloodiest since the 2004 Madrid bombing. The national Television was guiding us through the government quarter, which projected images of rubble and glass from shattered windows of high-rise buildings and smoke and fires fanning across the city. At the wreckage site at least one lonely blasted vehicle could be clearly observed.

Egil Vrekke, Assistant Chief Constable of Oslo police informed of the ongoing rescue operation.

“We are issuing warnings just [to] make sure that people are not in the area in case there are further explosions,” he informed the BBC.

“We have cordoned off large areas. There are bomb experts at the scene investigating whether there are other unexplodered devices in the area.”

Eerily the cordoned off quarter was deserted and not a sole to be seen in sight, no dead bodies and no rebels with weapons. So where were the perpetuators of this horrendous crime? Then the camera shifted to a side street and showed the jostling and panic-stricken mob racing hither and thither to safeguard their lives.

People with bloodied faces and agonised looks were rushing to distance themselves from the carnage. Norwegians never imagined that such things could ever happen in Oslo. They occurred in faraway places such as Sri Lanka, Afghanistan or Bagdad or perhaps even London.

My thoughts raced back to similar agonising images that I had witnessed one and a half decades ago.

That appalling incident was incisively etched into my hard disk for eternity.

The Central Bank bombing in Colombo was the deadliest terroristƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s attacks ever carried out until 9.11. It was executed by the Jaffna Tamil Catholic Terrorists. It took place on January 31, 1996, in the commercial hub of Colombo. A lorry laden with high explosives had crashed through and has entered the main gate of the Central Bank.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  A seaside high-rise that managed most of the financial business of the country. As gunmen traded fire with security guards, the suicide bomber in the lorry detonated the massive bomb, which tore through the bank and damaged eight other surrounding buildings. The lorry was followed by a three-wheeler, carrying two LTTE terrorists armed with automatic rifles and RPG launchers.

The blast killed at least 91 people and injured 1,400 others. At least 100 people lost their eyesight from the glass missiles.

Now similar terror actions were being enacted in Oslo.

Government of Sri Lanka condoled with the Government of Norway and its people early next day. The Acting Minister of External Affairs Neomal Perera stated that ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”it is sad to see the Norwegian people experiencing this kind of terrorism.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  He stressed that Norwegians being a peace-loving nation as much as Sri Lankans, and adds that our hearts go out to the Norwegian people, in their moment of sorrow.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢

After living with terror and routinely been targeted by racistƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s terror for three long decades, Lankans knew what terrorism was all about.

That evening at 10 PM, Prime Minister Stoltenberg gave a press conference and I realised the magnitude of the terror onslaught.

In essence his message was what the Sri LankanƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s had been insisting all along, He declared that,

I have a message for those who attacked us. And for those who are behind them.
It is a message from the whole of Norway: You will not destroy us.
You will not destroy our democracy or our commitment to bringing about a better world.
We are a small nation, but we are a proud nation.
No one is going to bomb us into silence.
No one is going to shoot us into silence.
No one is ever going to frighten us away from being Norway.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢

Norwegian people were lucky to have a Prime Minister of StoltenbergƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s calibre. In a most subtle way, he channelled their hate and anger not to seek an ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”eye for an eyeƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ as the Old Testament preaches, but nudged them on to a Ghandien Buddhist path. As Buddha explained 2500 years ago ‘hate, is never quenched by hate’.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Indeed the Central Bank bomb was assembled using artificial fertilizer, similar to the one detonated in Oslo. In 1996 Tamil terrorists from Jaffna taught the world how to built and execute fertiliser bombs. Which have been copied since by the Oklahoma Bomber and now by the one in Oslo.

At the time when the right wing government of Sri Lanka banned artificial fertilizer been sold in the North and East of the country. Norwegian UD expressed shock and dismay against that decision, declaring that it could be described as an anti Tamil action. Sri Lankans targeted by horror for decades explained to them wisely how fertilizer could be utilized to create deadly bombs. Those words were as if ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”pouring water on a ducks backƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ as far as the Norsk UD was concerned. For by that time they had an agenda of its own in Lanka.

After setting off the bomb in Oslo the bomber did not waste time, but rushed off to reach Utoya for his real purpose. It took him a little over an hour to reach his destination. Utoya being a summer camp for the Labour party leadership and their offspring. So that bomb in Oslo was simply a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”red herringƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ to get the police involved in Oslo and get them off ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ his back for what he had in mind. If in Oslo it had been carnage by any stanarded, with 7 people losing their lives, Utoya turned to be a massacre of unimaginable dimensions!

National police Chief Sveinung Sponheim told NRK that the suspected gunmanƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Internet postings ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-suggest that he has some political traits directed toward the right, and anti-Muslim views, but whether that was a motivation for the actual act remains to be seen.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚

Other Norwegian media reported that he described himself on his Facebook page as ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-conservative,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Christian,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ and interested in hunting, computer games like World of War craft and Modern Warfare 2, and in books like Niccolo MachiavelliƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-The PrinceƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ and George OrwellƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-1984.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚

Though authorities did not release his name at first, the Norwegian national broadcaster NRK identified him as 32-year-old Anders Behring Breivik and said police searched his Oslo apartment overnight.

Indeed the Policeman, who arrived in Utoya, claimed that he was investigating the bomb attack in an attempt to misleed his victims in to a faulty sense of security. He informed, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”he was sent out do a routine check in connection with the terror attack in Oslo,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚.

Among the wounded was Adrian Pracon, who was shot in the left shoulder as the gunman opened fire.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Speaking to AustraliaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s ABC network from hospital, he explained the scene on the island was bizarre as from a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Nazi movie.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-He had an M16; it did look like a machine gun. When I saw him from the side yelling that he was about to kill us, he looked like villain out a Nazi movie or something like that,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ Pracon added.

ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-He (Anders Behring Breivik) started shooting at these people, so I lay down and posed as if I was dead. He stood maybe just 2 meters away from me. I could hear him breathing. I could feel the heat of the machine gun.

Final number killed was established in time as 77 individuals.

A disturbing picture of Anders Behring Breivik soon emerged. He is a Christian cultural fundamentalist with a deep hatred of multiculturalism. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ He writes ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…” I am a supporter of an indirect collective conversion of the Protestant church back to the Catholic.” For the Lutheran Christians was losing the truly Christian values of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”self-centeredness.

Anders Behring Breivik is in fact is stereo type of racist.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  He is compelled to kill in order keep his race unadulterated. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

The Sinhalese were vermin and inferior to Jaffna Tamils he claimed. They were lazy, good for nothing, slip shot race of Buddhist chauvinist. So Jaffna Tamils need to be contained in a ghetto state to keep them in purity. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ In order execute this; he initiated ethnic cleaning of Sinhalese from ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”his historical homelandƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ He followed it up by killing the Muslims from ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”his Tamil homelandƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢. Curiously enough 99% of the MuslimƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s blood was from Tamils stock, now converted to the Muslim faith. Their mother tongue being Tamil.

By the time he got through the ethnic cleansing process, there were hardly any Sinhalese or Tamil Muslim left in the North and east of the country.

Like Anders Behring Breivik he too has mixed his religion with racism. For indeed Muslims were not really Tamils, after all, they have been contaminated through conversion.

Careful research indicated that the Terrorist Boss Velupillai Prabhakaran was none other than a Catholic in Disguise, carefully camouflaging his faith from his foot soldiers. He was tolerating Hindu Tamils and Indian Tamils, as he needed them as cannon fodder for his holy crusade. Obviously once Eelam was established they would be cohered into proper faith, which was Catholic.

Tamil Tigers has gone down history as the fathers of modern-day suicide bombing. Indeed they exported of their murderous expertise to the Islamic Jihadists.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  At its height Tamil Tigers accounted for a third of all suicide attacks around the worldƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  and was accepted as “the most successful terroristƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s organization in the world.”

They did however turn it into a vicious art form. Tigers adapted explosives so that they could be used on land, sea and air. But above all, terror boss Vellupillai Prabhakaran’s real genius lay in building a culture of martyrdom, where the suicide bomber kills as many as possible he can, before sacrifice himself. This, unlike Anders Behring Breivik, who killed as many as he could but never offer his own life for the cause.

Vellupillai Prabhakaran also mixed his religion with the racial purification. BundavikƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s and co. had a dual policy on terrorism i.e. our friends the good terrorists (Indeed they were not terrorists but rebels), and the Islamic terrorists which were the bona fide terrorists. When EU specified LTTE is as terror organization in 2006, UD quickly dropped EUs definition for terrorism and declared that it accepted the UN declaration of terrorism, which meant no definition at all.

So if we go by UDƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s definition Anders Behring Breivik is certainly not a terrorist but a rebel.

In fact 21st August 2006 the Sri Lankan daily ‘The Island’ headlines countered BauerƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s verbal onslaught of EUƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s switch on terrorism. (For those who are ignorant of who Bauer is, he is UDƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s roving ambassador of peace facilitation and a good friend of Jaffna Tamil Catholic terrorists).

And I quote from the Island,

ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”A senior Norwegian diplomat has questioned the European Union’s deciƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚­sion, taken last May (2006), to classify Sri Lanka’s Tamil Tigers as terrorists.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢

So not only UD will not specify terrorism but also it is angry that EU did define terrorism and specified Tamil Tigers as terrorists.

If Brevik gets a smart lawyer he would confronts the court with a simple question!
How can we declare Anders Behring Breivik a terrorist when the Government of Norway called the racist mass murderer Velupillai Prabhakaran who killed thousands including a Prim Minsters and a President a rebel?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  In fact the government of Norway did not consider him a killer of a mass scale, especially when a warrant has been issued for his arrest by the International Police.

Indeed on 11.05.2004 Foreign Minister Jan Petersen, arrived in the Sri Lankan bush, met, and greeted the murderer of Rajiv Gandhi in Toto. Petersen did not travel to the Island all by himself either. He had with him an entourage of dignitaries consisting of; State Secretary Vidar Helgesen, Special negotiator Erick Solheim and Ambassador Hans Brattskar. The entire delegation travelled to Kilinochchi and got an audience with the terror leader in his own lair. They felt honoured that Prabakaren had the kindness of heart and the time to offer them an audience.

Simply said killing innocent people in name of race purification are crimes against humanity. Breivik is a mass murderer and a terrorist without question and so is UDƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s terroristƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s friend Velupillai Prabhakaran, only many times over. But to me, those financing terrorists are worse than the terrorists themselves, and should be mercilessly persecuted.

The now silent Christian clique, who directed UD to keep Sri Lanka under a siege of terror, should realise that, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”what goes round comes roundƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢.
