My dear Sarath,

Your official web site launching ceremony of the Voice against corruption Organisation makes you a joker and a laughing stock. My dear Sarath, if you need to know why I said this, please go before a mirror and look at your face. If you are suffering from amnitia, now that you are a retired old joker please ring Victor Ivan and ask him of what I am talking of. As you are a lazy old bugger who is also suffering from senile debility I can remind you of your corrupt life as the chief injustice of Sri Lanka.

You became the Chief Justice through the back door by passing Justice Mark Fernando as you were ChandrikaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Hench man. Since then you became an arch enemy to Justice Mark Fernando until he retired pre-maturely. Not only had you harassed him you were determined to harass the litigants who received Justice Mark FernandoƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s judgement orders.

Moise & company a Singaporean firm won an arbitration award and it was upheld by the High Court. You squashed the High Court order and sent the Singaporean company back home empty handed. Sarath what kind of justice is that?

It is a very sad state of affairs that you terrorised the litigants. You represented as a thug and a rapist in the Supreme Court. When S.B.Dissanayake abused Chandrika you framed false charges and jailed S.B. for two years.

When Victor Ivon exposed your private life, as a revenge you prevented any lawyer to appear for him.

When the two constables who apprehend you while engaged in a lewd act with a young internee under a lamp post at Diyawanna Oya Park at Battaramulla with your pants down, you made sure the two constables were transferred to Vawniya within 24 hours as a reward. What kind of a justice is that Sarath?

In Victor IvonƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s book, it reveals that there were claims that you raped a female staff in your chambers. If it is not true why didnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t you charge Victor Ivon for defamation of character?

I know to a fact that it was a Buddhist monk who wrote articles on Buddhism under your name.

During your term as the Chief Justice of Sri Lanka you brought shame and disgrace to the entire judiciary of the country and you became the most corrupt judge in the legal history of Sri Lanka. When the public opinion is that it is laughable for you to fight against corruption while you were the most corrupt judge in the country. In short I must say that you have achieved the status of a JOKER.

Yours Truly, .

Stanley Perera

  1. dhane Says:

Stanley you are correct. Both Saraths are the same in character. SF in jail. SS wants to cover his sins. Both Saraths want to join in polictics. We will wait and see

  2. PRIYAN WIJEYERATNE Says:

Well well well, thanks for telling us these things. We do not know what is happening around us. We need more dirt holes like this uncovered. Thanks.

  3. sena Says:

From the bitterness of your tone, it looks like you have some personal affairs to settle with him. What you say may be true but his character is representative of most past and present politicians and officials of high offices in Sri Lanka. However it is no reason for him to keep quite in the face of these colossal misappropriations going on one after the other without any repercussions. If state of affairs is like that sacrifices made to rid Sri Lanka of violence may be in vain and internal unrest (like happening in India) may occur. Also it is shaming the memory of 29 thousand heroes who gave their lives so that everyone including these crooks can live in peace.

  4. AnuD Says:

As the writer says, if the former CJ was this bad which might be true, then think about the two presidents under whom this person carried out his duties as the CJ. How can we trust any of those presidents as people with any conscience.

If he wants to come to politics, that is perfectly fitting for him as most of the SL politicians are known to be kudu mudalalis, thugs, conartists, criminals and children or murderers and you name every one.

I wonder why this gentleman, the writer, was silent this long ?

Is he simply jealous with him and he did not have any guilty conscious to hold all these things in him without exposing, and now suddenly he exposes these things. Why ?

Any one pushed you into this ?

  5. AnuD Says:

This lawyers using their profession to engage in womanizing should be something very common in Sri Lanka. Some lawyers I knew they all were pathetic womanizers. They simply did not have any human values. It may be a systemic problem and no is talking it seems.

  6. nandimitra Says:

Its the message that is important. Attacking the messenger is a way to hide the truth.

  7. AnuD Says:

    Nandimithra:

I am not justifying if and what he supposed to have done.

Think about the integrity of the messenger when he was hiding this thing this long. Who is better the one who did or the witness who was hiding it for this long ?

then the next point, I say, this kind if things are very common in Sri Lanka among politicians and among bureaucrats.

How many are prosecuted and how many have lost thier jobs because they behaved this way.

  8. A. Sooriarachi Says:

    I smell a rat.
Is Sarath Silva opening up another channel to harass the Govt and be rewarded for it, just like Jehan Perera and Pkaiasothy Saravanamuttu, have been doing for so long, writing slanted articles to attract Norweigian and Western funds? I hear even Chandrika Kumarathunga is now talking of preventing corruption in the country. Is this a joke or am I dreaming?

  9. jay-ran Says:

This man had the idiocity to give judgements to evacuate CHECKPOINTS IN COLOMBO while the war was going on.Because of these checkpoints, many criminal activities were prevented. This act shows that he has been working against MR Govt while being the Chief(cheap) justice.

  10. Marco Says:

We have the same gentleman, Mr Stanley Perera writing in sinhale.wordpress

    IS SARATH SILVA A HYPOCRYT?

    http://sinhale.wordpress.com/2011/08/23/is-sarath-silva-a-hypocryt/

What took so long for the message to be conveyed?

  11. cassandra Says:

Perhaps, there is another way of looking at Sarath Silva’s recent intervention in affairs of public interest. He seems to know what he is talking about. Remember that old saying about setting a thief to catch a thief?
