ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The Honorable Minister cordially welcomed the delegation introduced by Gamini Perera and engaged in discussions with the delegates on the various relevant Srilankan issues that had captured the Australian mediaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  headlines in the preceding week. Of these, the allegations of Human Rights Violations and the oncoming CHOGM conference in Perth attended byƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  His Excellency The Prtesident of Srilanka, Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa, occupied most of the discussion.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Prof. Mendis opened the discussion by thanking Minister OƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ Connor and hisƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Government for supporting Srilanka against a motion tabled in the SenateƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  by the Greens Party moving to oust Srilanka from the Commonwealth,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  at the instigation of the Australian Tamil-Terrorist lobby.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  He further stated ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ that such shallow attitudes of the Greens and the anti-Srilanka Tamil lobby, jeopardized the Australia-Srilanka good relations and SrilankaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s national reconciliation measures strongly afloat globally.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Presenting a dosier prepared by him on the current war crimesƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  allegations against The High Commissioner for Srilanka Mr. ThisaraƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Samarasinghe, Dr. Hettiarachi deliberated that the current High Commissioner did not officiate as the Eastern Naval Commander in Naval military operations at the concluding stages of the Srilankan war against Tamil Terrorism.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  In conclusion, Dr. Hettiarachi submitted on behalf of the delegation that,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  he would lobby the Hon. Minister for his whole-hearted support toƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  uphold and promote SrilankaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s immense resurgence and itƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s un-precedented surge in development, with undeniable benefits to theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  inhabitants of Srilanka, impoverished by 30 years of Tamil Terrorism.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

    Well done!
We perhaps need to take some of these Greens to Sri Lanka on a fully paid tour to show them what is happening now and provide them with real evidence of the truth and point out why these Tamils have organised to lie. They have been lying since early 70s to date. ABC can join the tour too.

  2. A. Sooriarachi Says:

Well done Prof. Mendis, Doctor Hettiacrachi and others in the delegation that met the Minister to convey the truth about Sri Lanka and the Tiger Terrorist lobby. I wish them well and all the good luck for protecting the good name of the country that gave all of us, including the Tamils, a free education, health facilities and other benefits. May I also point out that this very same propagandists seems to be now infiltrating websites like “Lankaweb” to make adverse comments as well as give negative votes to those who expose their destructive path.
