ABC 7.30 Report Producer,

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Dear Sir/Madam,

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ I am surprised to see how a Government broadcasting institution becomes a catƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s paw to regurgitate false allegations perpetrated by the LTTE sympathizers. On the 18th October 2011 Leigh SaleƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s 7.30pm report interviewed Meena Krishnamurthy a hardcore LTTE activist who appeared from nowhere to claim that under the commandership of Rear Admiral Thisara Samarasinghe bombed a Hospital causing fatalities to the patients for whom he should be investigated for war crimes.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The conflict in Sri Lanka ended in May of 2009, until last TuesdayƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s 7.30 report there had been no allegations what so ever against this officer. It has become quite easy for new eyewitnesses to appear all of a sudden and add authenticity to a statement by declaring that I was there and I saw with my own eyes, it looks like new form of a unchallengeable evidence for someone to come forward and say I saw with my own eyes to accuse (daub) someone for war crimes purely through hatred!

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It is no secret now that most of the pro LTTE activists visited conflict zones under various bogus humanitarian organizations with the help of the corrupt UN officialdom.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It is also a well-known fact that Sri Lanka defence forces dealt with the most brutal terrorists organization in the Globe, during the three decades of this conflict, these savages killed, maimedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ thousands of innocent civilians from all ethnicities while all UN organizations kept mum and itƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s only now they have stated to count the dead! Strange itƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s no surprise to the gullible in the West. We see and hear how the innocent people in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya & in Pakistan are killed on daily basis via visuals on the TV. For those who cry crocodile tears for the mythical loss of exaggerated lives in Sri Lanka these daily indiscriminate killings must be the vermin that need to be exterminated!

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Question today from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation is why should you go all out to use a hardcore activist of the pro LTTE to give credibility to build a war crimes case against a Commander whose line of duty was to defend his country from a group of ruthless terrorists and also to deliver Medical and food supplies to the innocent civilians in the conflict zones! He accomplished both these tasks impeccably, for that we are truly indebted to him!

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ I am not happy with this biased broadcasting of the 7.30 Program for giving her air time without checking her background and thereby for engaging in misleading and deceptive publicity for the propagandists.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ I appeal ABC to investigate this derrogatory transmission.

These are some facts re. Meena who is a hardcore terrorist was married to hard core terrorist as well. Remember what Praba said, No one in the ltte is allowed to marry if they are out side the ltte battle front.

    – The military has also identified Meena’s husband, Irasarathnam Thayakaran.

= So called eye witness was an LTTE cadre Krishnamoorthy Navarangi Meena aka Eelanadee, a Sri Lankan born Australian citizen.

    – Valvettiturai-born Meena had returned to the then LTTE-held area in 2004 on the invitation of the LTTE and had three years later married a hardcore LTTE cadre.

    – The person interviewed by the Australian TV Channel had received a six-month military training programme and served the LTTE’s Malathi ‘regiment’ until the conclusion of the conflict in May 2009, these sources said.

    – UK’s Channel 4 News partly based its unsubstantiated ‘Sri Lanka’s Killing Fields’ on comments attributed to Sri Lankan born UK passport holder Vani Kumar believed to be a colleague of Meena.

    – We believe they were in the Vanni together at the end of the war,” a senior official said.

    – Meena had been among a selected group of LTTE cadres sent to South Africa to follow a course in law and briefly coordinated LTTE activities in Malaysia.

    – Her husband, Thayakaran, had joined the LTTE in 1993 and served the Imran Pandiyan Special Regiment. He had been among those sent on a special mission to Johannesburg in Nov. 2003 and returned to country in December the same year.
