Dear Editor,
We, of the World Alliance for Peace in Sri Lanka are committed to find a rational answer to a burning query: How did the Norwegians happen to get involved in Sri LankaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s issues, and what was NorwayƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s hidden agenda in the island?
We found we needed to a commission and identify a person who knows the Norwegian culture intimately, be associated with Sri Lanka and knowledgeable of the history of the terror campaign unlashed on the Sri Lankan nation, to carry out such a mandate.
While there are experts who specialize in each such field, the person we were considering needed some additional qualities such as; being devoid of fear to ferret out the covert facts and give a cogent interpretation of what is uncovered. Indeed he should be capable of wading through tons of information, penetrate the subtle psychology of the important players and reach out and grab from history the vital essence of what has occurred, and juxtapose those to paint a broad canvas.
Indeed his literary abilities should be beyond dispute. More than that, his integrity and passion for the truth should incite him follow the facts where ever that may lead him.
In fact his mandate was quite explicit; to investigate historical facts and produce a rational report to quench our curiosity; as to why and how of NorwayƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s involvement.
The expert, who fulfilled all of the above described conditions and much more, was none other than Mahinda Weerasinghe.
After 5 months of research, deliberation and ferreting out the facts, he tabled his answer with the following report; which he termed;ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”PAWNS OF PEACE-EVALUATIONƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ AND, LESSONS UNLEARNT
This report simply gave us the jitters. Indeed it hit us like a ton of bricks.
He has not only fulfilled its mandate 100% but went way, way beyond. It brought some terrible uncanny facts to the surface, which we never imagined in our wildest dreams. How a kind and tolerant cultures (such as Norway) be subverted by a band of holy Christian warriors thus affixing themselves as financers of terror.
We own a huge debt to Mahinda for applying himself zealously in order to uncover this ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”pit of snakesƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢. MahindaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s sir name appropriately defines what he is (Weera-Singhe), brave- lion.
Now that we are aware of the facts the world at large should be made aware of it too. If the terrorist Prabhakaran was in Norway with Hans Westborg when Tsunami hit Sri Lanka, (on the 25thƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ of Dec. 2004) this reportƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s veracity is established instantly therewith.
WAPS demand that government of Sri Lanka summon the Ambassador of Norway, and insists on an answer to this burning question. For it is of national interest as thousands of Sri Lankan laid their lives while defending the nation from peace facilitator financed terror. WhatƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s more, Norway should compensate Lanka for its earlier Prime Minster Kjell Magne Bondevik program of destabilization and transgression of the Sri Lanka nation.
We would give out the Sinhalese and the Norwegian translations to make people aware of how Lanka was living at the edge of an abyss for decades.
The expert, Mahinda Weerasinghe has opined; real information does not reach the Lankans and Norwegians alike and gets buried. This blocking of real information should be thought through carefully, if Lanka is to avoid a re-run of history.

ThatƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s the reason, Solheim has been sacked from his job ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-on the dayƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ and this made it impossible for him to remove evidence covering his nefarious terror financing. Indeed things should begin to leak pretty soon now. So the WAPS move was crucial at the time. Indeed this WAPS move has brought down the biggest anti Sri Lankan and the main financer of Jaffna Tamil Catholic terror since the year 2000.
We congratulate theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg for his timely and patriotic act.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Yet WAPS will insist on getting answers to their outstanding questions specified in their letter, as WAPS members demand satisfaction.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sadly this job should have been taken up by the Lankan state; but unfortunately the vested interests maneuvering policy making in Colombo are diffident in examining the treachery enacted against
sovereign Sri Lanka. We tend to face difficulties in the international diplomacy due to wait and seeƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Policy.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ For an example Catholic run media both in Sri Lanka and India has not given prominence to the fact that Solheim has been booted out, why?
No wonder that saying hold true; people deserve the leaders they get.
Its misinformation and manipulation by Catholic action which helped ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”dabbingƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ of Lanka in UNHCR so ingloriously in Geneva.
History should never be forgotten or we bound to re-enact it!

There is a research paper written by a US think tank that shied some intriguing analysis re. Norway and US foreign policy.
It says certain Norwegians wants Norway to be uses as a fifth column to penitrate emerging non christian countries, so that Norway will be used as a Trojan Horse. Whole idea may be feasible since Scandinavians are normally looked as independent countries. Fortunately what Norwegians did in Israel and Sl back fired miserably and exposed some of the dark dealings with Norway and US right wingers.
Norwegian influence in SL started in !960 in the North and sucessive govt. look the other way and UNP Christian front may be party to these either willingly or unwillingly.
At last govt. is doing something re. media policy in SL and I have worked very hard on this area and even given technical help with training and systems and all we need is patriotic people to support countries well being. We need very bright people with proper focus.
I know how western media work and how western intelligence agencies plant their people in these media organisations.

There is a SL embassy in Norway. Why do we need an embassy there if the Ambassador did not look into these things at all ?

India has been involved with the West socialists fro a long time ago. Mohandas Karamchand was supported and looked after by the British Socialists to start the ball rolling. India and its intelligence service has been involved with Norwegian and Western Socialists.
Norway has supplied explosive and communication technologies to India.
The Socialist landscape of Europe is changing rapidly with the decline of its economy.
The recent killing of Norwegian Socialist youth at a camp is the best example.
The Indian and Tamil youth who were in this camp managed to escape the gunman. It was just luck.
So the people like Solheim are being kicked out.
There are not many Catholics in Norway and Lutheran Church is not Catholic.
These people who talks about peace in Sri Lanka is really hell bent on dividing the Sinhalese on religious lines.
Seldom they criticize the Hindus and Indians to the same extent they rubbish the West or the Christians.

It was very interesting & eye openirg for all sri lankans including expats. Both gentlemen are very articulate in their presentations & very knowledgeble.
This is the type of unity & coercevenes most Sri lankans want, as the writers pointed out Sri lankan embassy in Norway is not doing what it supposed to do. If the emabassy & Ambassodor cannot support, investigate, respond wisely as the TWO gentlemen have done, it is pointless having these persons as ambassodors, paid high salaries & perks.
This is the main reason in my articles & responses I strongly felt that this type of collaboration among like minded individuals, professionals & support Sri lanka orgaizations is vital, if we ever to resolve problems. This type of concerted, united effort can point out & forward proposals to our Govt. in Sri lanka.

Mark my words. Rajapaksa Administration will appoint Milinda Moragoda to examine and report on this research of Mahinda weerasinghe and Ranjith Sysa. He (Milinda Moragda) who received millions of dollars from Norway during the UNP Governemnt day of signing the CFA, is now the “Advisor” to HE President Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa. He was also sent to Norway recently when the “Peace Evaluation” sessions were conducted . So obviously he is the most qualified to do this job for the Sri Lanka Governemnt.
So be ready.
