Stand Against Tamil Extremism

Dear Sisters and Brothers in Islam. Assalamu allaikum
As you are well aware, there is a well organized strategy by vested interests in the Tamil community to prevent the Muslim IDPs returning to theirƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ former homes,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ especially in Mannar. The recent incidents targeting Hon Rishad Bathiudeen is just one example. Hon. Bathiudeen is probably the only shield preventing the eviction and ethnic cleansing of the Muslims again from the North.
This heinous crime against these innocent Muslims should be brought to the attention of all Sri Lankans and the Muslims need to come together shedding political and any other differences in defense of these unfortunate brothers and sisters who have been languishing in temporary homes and shelters for the past 22 years.
The Muslim Council of Sri Lanka has initiated many interventions with regard to this issue as well as others concerning the evicted Muslims of the North.
We call upon you who have much influence in society to come forward to ensure that the Muslims who have opted to return to their former homes are allowed to do so with dignity and self respect. We also urge you
to speak to your non Muslims Colleagues and friends regarding the injustice done to the Muslim IDPs and convince them of their need to support the return of the Muslims to the North.

Many contributors to the Lanka Web has been writing to this column, expressing their anxiety, in the delay of bringing back the 80,000 muslims and the 20,000 Sinhalese to their ancestral homes in the North. This is long overdue, and we all Sri Lankans, with great deference, request the President and the Legislators to now take serious notice of this anomaly, and give them back their homes in the North, which they have lived for years. They should also be given Rs.One Million each as given to the Tamil IDPs. THERE SHOULD BE NO DISCRIMINATION, WHATSOEVER. We must remember that the Tamils plundered the gold and all the money, and personal belongings of the Muslims and the Sinhalese. They should be compensated without any hesitation.
CAN WE SEE THE START OF RE-HABILITATION OF THE MUSLIMS AND THE SINHALESE, IN THE NORTH, RIGHT AWAY.
There is absolutely no nessecity to make this subject a stalemate, and to be high-lighting it over and over again.

I agree. But, at the same time Lankan Muslim brothers should irradicate their own community extremism which has reached Sril Lanka. Look at Mareena Thaha. I have discovered many muslims now claim they came from Sauidi and now they follow Saudi. Muslims must stop this nonsece first and cultivate our own Islam, based on Buddhist values.

Muslims are not above the law. How can he threaten a Judge? The Muslim IDPs have nothing to do with the Minister’s threats to a judge and damging the government properties of the court by stoning!
Muslims now follow Arabian Law and not the Sri Lankan law. If the Judge’s verdict is wrong or not satisfied by one party, they have to appeal the decision of the Judge and not threatening or stoning courts. If this Muslim Minister is not prepared to follow the LAW of the country, he better resign and start something else.

SOME Tamils follow Vesawalami law which is worse than Arabic law.

Agree with Mudali. Tamil Tiger Law (religion) has come to a halt thanks to Gota and Raja. Saudi law seems to be the next one. How can this idot threaten the judge ? Meaning they only respect sharia law.
Sharia law is bad but the worst is the Zionist no-law killings taking place all over the world.

Check the Kandyan Law and the Muslim Law of Sri Lanka. I think you dont know what is the Thesavalamai! That is the Law of your malayaalees!
