ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ A man with a notoriety for agitating, rabble rousing and creating disturbances on the Indian political front, one of a motley crew of the same ilk as Jayalalitha, Karunanidi, Vaiko and Co. has had the nerve to get involved in matters apparently way beyond his comprehension albeit steeped in pro Eelamist bias and needs to be responded to. The reference is being made to none other tham Mr S.Ramdoss- leader of the PMK Party of Tamil Nadu.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The world by now should be aware that Sri Lanka is being targetted by her adversaries over the issue of alleged war crimes during the military campaign against the Tamil TigersƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ which have never been proven despite graphicallyu enhanced videos, falsified statements and a massive campaign organised by Tamil Sympathisers globallyƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  where the crux of the matter which is the defeat of terrorism unconditionally and theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ super efficiency by the Administration and armed forces displayed through their strategies and tenacityƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ seems to be a bitter pill for all concerned to swallow. Ramdoss andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  his allies most certainly seem to be confirming this with their continued rhetoric.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ That India voted against Sri Lanka at the UNHRC in Geneva seems to be of consequence to all the related agitations prevailing where some indian politicians seem to be misguidedly believing that the UNHRC vote was a mandatory order of condemnation with punitive reprisals in Sri Lanka which it was not and a mere recommendation towards proving why the accountabilities towards related accusations are incorrect and also towards resolving the remaining issues on displaced persons rather than a direct finger pointing which had neither tangible evidence towards support nor was there any justification beyond the biases of the Elamists and pro LTTE sympathisers which are being continuously and somewhat ludicrously harped upon by the likes of Ramdoss.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ To suggest that ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ that Sri Lanka has laid a trap for India to fall into at the UN seems somewhat senile and ignorant on the part of Ramdoss who by his worthless rhetoric seems to be undermining India’s capability to shoulder the responsibilities needed in any circumstance needing proper leadership and for this aberration alone the man needs to be incarceratedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ as it is an affont to the nation he represents and its leadership.

It is quite visible to the unbiased world communities who draw their conclusions on rationalities andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ logicƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  through tangible evidence that Sri Lanka by no means isƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ( quoting Ramdoss)ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ trying to wriggle out of accusations of war crimes at the United Nations with IndiaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s help whoƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ has recentlyƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ urged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to avoid meeting Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa during his upcoming visit and ensure thatƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ India takes a neutral stand in the investigations against the island nation.

Perhaps india should have done this very thing at the UNHRS Sessions in Geneva and abstained from votingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  where the concept of a neutral stand in Mr Ramdoss’s book seems to be an anti Sri Lanka vote displaying the delusions and derangements the man seems to display in much of his inflammatory agitations where he has even been thrown in jail!

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ While it is indeed true thatƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The Periodic Review Working Group of the UNHRC is all set to take stock of the human rights situation in Lanka in October andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ India as he hasƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ pointed, has been slated as one of the three countries to undertake this review, it is not for him to make anti -Sri Lanka statements or recommendationsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ to the Indian Prime Minister who in all probabilities will ignore his obsteperous mentalityƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  which is what it tantamounts to as a representative of India who knows the importance of maintaining the protocols towards good relations and communications with Sri Lanka rather than being misled by a minnow in Indian politicsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  despite his leadership status whose track record certainly disentitles him to the privilege regardless of the rhetoric ! not forgetting the rhetorical aspect of a minnow being a small fish attached to a hook, line and sinker to catch larger fish!

Despite his natterings,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sri ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Lanka has no need to ~ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ what he termsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ” scuttle moves to fix any accountability for the human rights excesses during war time with the support of India, which helped dilute the resolution passed against Lanka at the UN in March.” where he seems to have got it all wrongƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ as there was no dilution, very definitely an anti Sri Lankan sentiment andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ‘ no’ vote against SriƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ LankaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and caused some unmitigatedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ consternation towards Sri Lanka’s state of well being , smooth functioning and restitution of those affected by the conflict including many ethnicities not only the Tamils!

Somewhat sacrileginously and boldly Ramdoss has saidƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  thatƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Rajapaksa is visiting India to garner support of the Centre adding that if India aided Lanka again, it would be deemed as a nation supportive of war crimes.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Hence, all political parties in the State should stand united in ensuring that India remained neutral in the probe against Lanka.” Highly inflammatory through the accusation about war crimes, probably pitiful in how the interpretations fail to strike a chord with reality as he seems to have missed the many acollades and praises the Sri Lanka Administration has recieved in recent times from many significant leaders and communities in variousƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ parts of the worldƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ about how the anti insurgent operations were conducted and how the displaced were treated and how well they have progressed in the aftermath. There have even been requests for blueprints towards the needs of some countries plagued by the kind of terrorism that was put down in Sri Lanka!

Meanwhile, in a separate statement, RamadossƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  has condemned the US government for allowing the release of an ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-anti-IslamƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ movie which seems like eyewash towards gaining a feather in his cap considering some of the attrocities being perpetrated against Muslims in his own country in a rank display of “Man’s inhumanity to man!”! and a false sense of sympathy towards what despites the debatable nature of the movie, finger points towards the excesses of Fundamentalist Islam and its destructive nature which simply cannot be swept under the carpet!

What all this signifies is the animosity and continuing anti – SriƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Lankan sentiment being portrayed by some Tamil Nadu politicians whose agendas simply point towards their support of Eelam, a concept defeated in Sri Lanka which is better off being restricted to the confines of Tamil Nadu as many Sri Lankan Tamils too have been disillussioned about the concept and have opted to pit their supportƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ towards the Government of Sri Lanka.

Perhaps Mr Ramdoss should find himselfƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ a better vocation than being a political rabble rouser and most importantly resign himself to the reality the neither he nor his friends in Tamil Nadu have any say in matters pertaining to Sri Lanka as they have cancelled themselves out of the equation through their own misguided and belligerentƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ actions and rhetoricƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  which at times defy decorum by the disrespect being paid to world leaders !
