Malaka-Major Incident – an Insult to the Intelligence of Sri Lankans

Much media space has been taken for an incident involving a renowned juvenile delinquent having multiple records of misbehavior and a miitary personnel at a Colombo hotel leading to the injuring of the army major.

The political links ensured that the attackers remained safe enough to even worship the kapilavastu relics guarded by police who did not know there was a warrant for his arrest while the Government spokesman excused the inability to arrest as a mark of respect for the place of worship.

As always if you are a politician or a someone’s someone an arrest equates to mean one’s cell is not inside any prison or police but a hospital. There’s hardly any need for an arrest if this is the result.

After all the space given over electronic media with thousands of public writing to the forums to post their views on the matter of drugs, nightclubs, wine, women and song… it now emerges that the army major has not been attacked by those he initially accused. Which next makes us wonder whether the army major had self-inflicted the wounds!

In short, why waste space over these issues at all when the final outcome is obvious? It is simply insulting our intelligence if this is the culture of justice for some.

Looks like the army major was visiting a NOTORIOUS Tamil illegal businessman.

I was surprised how some Tamil businessmen have SO QUICKLY developed strong business relationships with army personnel. But it is true.

It is better for him to suffer this and keep quiet than unearth a large UNDERWORLD NETWORK with SEVERAL army and police guys.

Good negotiation skills!!! You save me, I save you. Lets together screw-up the legal system.

    Now we have Major Malaka!

This Papa Dog and Son Dog have crossed the red line. This is not the first time these canines mocked our nation.
This raises very likely possibilities of these dogs doing many bad things in the future, unrestrained. A businessman may not be able to conduct his business without paying ransoms to the Papa Dog. Somebody may not be able to dine outside without paying homage to the son dog. A girl may not be able to walk the streets if these dogs want that girl.

These are mere parasites living off our national wealth while mocking the very same nation they pilfer. More of this is no longer acceptable.

The Army Major banged his head against a brick wall when he saw the son of “Dutugamuna”.Lost his weapon, ID and Gold chain in that process. simple!
Would a diplomatic posting to Aus (family already settled) as Defense and Intelligence attache suffice for the loss of memory?
Why worry? its a minor matter!
