TNA wants India to assure productivity in PSC

The government of Sri Lanka, which has the constitutional powers and the authority to govern the independent, sovereign state of Sri Lanka had repeatedly asked the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) to nominate its representatives to the Parliamentary Select Committee. The TNA did not want to do that all this time, and according to the latest media reports dated 07 October, a TNA Parliamentarian named Selvam Adekkalanadan wants India to assure productivity if his group (TNA) were to participate in the PSC.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It is beyond comprehension why any Sri Lankan citizen wants India to guarantee success in discussions that are ostensibly related to Sri LankaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s problems Sri Lanka has to deal with. The so-called national question or the Tamil question ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” whatever that may mean ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” is a problem that had been created by the Tamils of the North and which has drained the meagre resources of Sri Lanka over the past many decades. If there is such a national or ethnic problem that has deprived the Tamils of their dues, it is not possible for the population of Colombo to be nearly 41% Tamil. Incidentally, Sri Lanka is not another state of the Union of States of India, and the TNA parliamentarians need to get that fact into their heads.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ India nurtured, trained and financed a rag tag bunch of street thugs to become the worldƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s deadliest terrorist group that was ready to take on the legally constituted government of Sri Lanka and its armed forces. When the TNA parliamentarians are ready to run to New Delhi in search of solutions for Sri LankaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s problems or seek moral and vociferous backing from its brethren in Tamil Nadu, led by the likes of Karunanidhi, Vaiko, Seeman and Jayalalitha, it should be obvious to any sane person that these individuals do not consider themselves as Sri Lankan citizens, in spite of their getting paid and enjoying enviable perks at the expense of the Sri Lankans (mostly Sinhala) tax payers.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It is time that Sri Lanka told the TNA parliamentarians that they have one of two choices: either go back to their motherland of Tamil Nadu and be citizens of India or remain in Sri Lanka as true Sri Lankan citizens. Allegations of discrimination of Tamils, deprivation of their rights and the need for reconciliation should not be used any more to fool a gullible West and the so-called international community, which comprises a mere handful of affluent nations.

This amounts to TREASON on the part of the TNA, and UNDUE INTERFERENCE in Sri Lanka’s INTERNAL POLITICS on India’s part. NEITHER of these activities should be allowed by the GOSL.
The TNA was the subservient proxy of the LTTE during the SunGod’s reign, actively fighting for a separate Tamil fiefdom in Sri Lanka. That scheming and undermining has not changed one iota now; it has only moved to a different non-military stage.
On the other hand, India is not an IMPARTIAL party to the issue, to be accorded honored status in these matters, but a criminal party to the destruction of Sri Lanka in the past. India is responsible for initiating and supporting Tamil terrorism in Sri Lanka, invading Sri Lanka in a bid to partition it in favor of Tamil Eelamists, and embedding changes to Sri Lanka’s constitution that are INIMICAL to SRi Lanka’s continued survival as a sovereign nation. These activities of India led to the deaths of over 150,000 Sri Lankan citizens and placed our Motherland in jeopardy. India should be held culpable, and continue to pay war reparations for the reconstruction of our country.
India, the perpetrator of these crimes against Sri Lanka, should be given NO ROLE WHATEVER in Sri Lanka’s INTERNAL POLITICS.
To FORGIVE is DIVINE, but to FORGET is IDIOTIC!
These ENEMIES of Sri Lanka must not be allowed to WIN in PEACE what they FAILED TO WIN in WAR.

After Nandikadal what Tamils as an intelligent people should think about is not communally divided country but a country where the Communities have integrated to become a national community. Where we do not speak about ethnic problems, discrimination against the Tamils, and devolution of political power to the Tamils, but speak of National problems , sharing in the progress of National social and economic development, and build a politically sound Sri Lankan Nation.
Despite this it is the TNA, the expatriate Tamil Community abroad, the International Community, Tamil Nadu and India that keep harping on Sri Lankas Communal difference and trying to perpetrate division of the Sri Lankan Nation.
But our political leaders haven’t the guts to say so clear and loud to all concerned !

We all hope that the present government understands that the citizens of Sri Lanka expect them to safeguard the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Sri Lanka. As we all know, the TNA, in connivance with India, is trying to get the country again separated into exclusive Tamil lands where it is only for the Tamils and the rest of the country for the Tamils, Sinhalese, Muslims etc. This is what LTTE failed to get with the armed struggle over nearly 30 years, taking the country down to the economic bankruptcy. Now the TNA wants to continue down this slippery slope with the Indians.
If the TNA feels that internal affairs of SL should be taken to India for resolution, may be they genuinely think that they belong in India, and that is their mother country. If that is the case, they should be given an ultimatum to decide and leave SL for good. Otherwise, the GOSL must make it illegal to externalize internal affairs of the country and anyone defying it must be put behind bars. It’s a shame that the GOSL have been sleeping at the wheel all this time. Lot of Sri Lankan blood has been shed to protect the territorial integrity of SL. GOSL should have brought in new legislation immediately after the war ended, as Sri Lanka should be the mother land only for those who are patriotic to the country. Traitors of our motherland, whether Tamil, Sinhalese or Muslim, should be clearly identified, captured and legally punished severely to set an example for the others.
Mr. President, it’s time to show some courage and get rid of the divisive 13A and promulgate new laws to protect the country from traitors who seek foreign interference in our motherland.

ANANDA, CHARLES, AND VIJENDRA, we are all on the same wave length. It appears that we are running hoarse talking about TNA ” our souls ” who are the proxy of the Megalomaniac and its LTTE, and about the UNLUCKY 13th Ammendment.
TNA has to be reigned in, and banned. Government pussy footing on this issue it tantamount to a Terminal Illness. They seemed to be scared for some reason, best known to the GOSL Legislators. TNA HAS TO BE CHARGED FOR TREASON as aforesaid.
TNA are the Dalit Tamils of Sri Lanka, the ‘ nobodies,’ trying to enclave themselves from the High Caste Tamils, to become ‘ somebodies ‘. They are using the GOSL as the Cats Paw to achieve their agenda at ant cost.
They have to be formidably reigned in right now, while the iron is hot. Hope Legislators are not in Slumberland.

Parangiya (Lorenzo)want to make an ally betweem TNA & SLMC?.we should keep in mind,that we don’t have any supporting countries(except few) other than Islamic countries.if we allow the racist begots to make damage among the Muslims and Sinhalese coordial relationship,can cause big disaster to the country.(despite allegations,by least minorities of racist begots,Muslims are loyal to Sinhalese).
For instance,take the election of eastern province,15 elected councilors are Muslims.out of 15 seven elected via UPFA,7 via SLMC,1 via UNP.whereas almost entire Tamil councilors were elected by TNA.(UPFA brought two Tamil councilor by Jilmart).almost all Tamils were voted against Sinhales dominated parties.by vote how many Sinhalese are elected?still large portion of Muslims are with Sinhalese dominated parties.(still they have trust upon Sinhalese leadership).
But some least minorities of Racist begots are behind the Muslims,protesting against religious,social matter etc.
I am requesting from Sinhalese brothers,don’t use the media to create tention among communities,instead use the media to unite the communities.

The reason of northerm & eastern Muslims prosecution by LTTE were, due to Muslims loyalty towards Sinhalese Buddists.If we want to keep our motherland united.spread friendship. not racism and disharmony.

Some points to note :
The Old Plan of Tamil leaders was to cry “Discrimination” (Actually CASTE DISCRIMINATION in North was turned on the rest of Sri Lanka as a Fault in the rest of Lanka).
Here is the sequence of events :
Discrimination cry > Separatism cry with Vadukoddai Resoln. calling for Violence to achieve Eelam > pre-planned Riots (1983) and Exodus of Tamils to the West > War (30 yrs).
All this has involved India & the International Community.
The TNA which is still for Separatism by other means, is bottling the same old Eelam ‘wine in various new bottles’ !
We have to remove the 13-A to safeguard the integrity of Sri Lanka. Time to organise an island wide campaign on the dangers posed by the 13-A and to remove the 13-A. No other way.
Secure Lanka from Within. People Power can do it.

As many right thinking true Sri Lanka lovers have expressed,its time that President Rajapakse takes a firm decision without delaying to:
1) TNA(WHO DRAWS SALARIES & PERKS FROM SL GOVT ie,MAJORITY SINHALESE CONTRIBUTED TAX MONEY) who are the LTTE proxies must be told in no uncertain terms EITHER TO REMAIN IN SRI LANKA AS SRILANKAN CITIZENS or
2) GO TO TAMIL NADU & SETTLE DOWN AS TN INDIANS as they always try to get Indian Govt help to solve imaginary problems, AND,
3) IMMEDIATELY TAKE STEPS TO REMOVE 13 th AMMENDMENT which is designed to break up SL.
Untill then there won’t be any peace in SL as Sampathan and brutes are hell bent on seperatism,racial idiots.

We need ask India to fully partacipate in our new inavation of PSC to waster our 15 to 24 month to achive agrrement whiche we will through in the dustbin !!!
Once for Kilinochchi MP Anandasangari said , We dont need to go to Oslo or Japan to find solution for our ethenic problm the man in Killinochchi paddy field know the answer !!!
My advice is TNA & SL Govt should visit this Killinochchi paddy feield man who work 24/7 to feed his familly !

Remove 13-A and next ensure Productivity, not only for Killinochi, but for the entire island.
Productivity should be ensured not only in agriculture but in other spheres of economic activity too. Also, avoid wastage and use local material as much as possible.
War is a waste of human life and resources.
When a genuine Peace begins, Prosperity follows.

In this situation it is only Jayantha Liyanage of the Sinhala Jathika Peramuna who has taken positive action by filing an action against TNA and the case is to be heard on the 5th December thisyear. He needs the support of all patriots what ever political views they hold. SLMC has its own Agenda, which is to ride on any political party to fulfil their communal wants. They are not sincere and cannot be counted upon. You do not know which way SLMC will turn if Sri Lanka wants the communal unity for its defence.
They even agreed to a MoU with Prbhakaran. even in recent elections in the East, SLMC was hesitating whether to go with the TNA or stay on with ther UPFA. If SLMC is genuine and sincere there was no reason for it to have hesitated.

Can GOSL assure “productivity” in any Commission or Report that it has commissioned?
None, at all (name one if you can?)- except a waste of tax payers money and typically delaying tactics.
LLRC is a “dead letter” and so will the PSC, so why waste time and money it will end up in the dustbin.
Now- The Divineguma Bill, Looks like the Sri Lankan Judiciary can be bullied and muzzled but not the LTTE proxy TNA.

The 13th Amendment is SUICIDE PILL that was forced upon the hapless Govt of Sri Lanka AT THE POINT OF A GUN leveled at its head by India.
There is NOTHING in International Law, or in our own Sri Lankan Common Law, that COMPELS a VICTIM to honor an Agreement forced upon it by an AGGRESSOR. In such situations, the DUTY of the kidnapped victim is to survive …. anyway it can … as Sri Lanka did …. until it can escape the kidnapper and restore its rights.
On the eve of World War II, Hitler demanded that Czechoslavakia give up its German-majority Sudetenland region to Germany upon the threat of invasion. In the now infamous Munich Agreement, hailed by Neville Chamberlain as heralding “peace with honor, peace in our time”, the British and the French threw hapless Czechoslovakia to the wolves, reneging on their guarantee to defend the integrity of that country, in search of “peace” at any price. But this dishonorable ACT OF INFAMY, got them neither the “peace” they so cravenly sought, nor the “honor” they so highly valued. They lost BOTH.
At the conclusion of WWII with the defeat of Nazi Germany, the infamous Munich Agreement was ABROGATED as a CRIMINAL and ILLEGAL act imposed under DURESS upon Czechslovakia, and Czechslovakia was reconstituted and restored in its entirety.
While this is but one instance in International Law of Agreements made under Duress being rescinded, it is also universally recognized in the Common Law of nations, that agreements enacted under duress, without all parties being able to exercise their free will without compulsion, can and should be declared NULL AND VOID.
So it is with the 13th-Amendment to the Constitution imposed upon SOVEREIGN Sri Lanka by the FOREIGN STATE of India under the threat of PERMANENT Military Occupation by the “IPKF” troops.
The 13th-Amendment is in fact a de-facto PARTITION of Sri Lanka in favor of a racist Tamil separatist group. It is also a de-jure imposition of the SEED of that partition upon Sri Lanka by embedding the path towards partition in the highest legal document in our land … our Constitution … by a foreign aggressor nation that has NO LEGAL STANDING recognized by the sovereign people of Sri Lanka. This ILLEGAL ACT, executed far from the eyes of the world, is an ACT OF INFAMY no less egregious to justice and fair play as was the Munich Agreement imposed by Nazi Germany upon Czechoslovakia.
Therefore, it is INCUMBENT upon the Government of Sri Lanka to IMMEDIATELY ABROGATE this amendment to the nation’s constitution in FULL, as constituting an ILLEGAL act that is INIMICAL to the survival of Sri Lanka as an independent and sovereign nation.
The GOSL has NO DUTY towards the aggressor nation India to “honor” the illegal agreement imposed by it, just as Czechoslovakia had NO DUTY to honor the Munich Agreement, when it was able to abrogate it. CRIMINAL ACTS must not be allowed to STAND.
When the TNA requests India to set the “Agenda” for the Parliamentary Select Committee of Sri Lanka so that the PSC achieves “productivity”, it is in fact asking India to ENFORCE the 13th Agreement, and a “Political Solution” that is “acceptable” to the TNA, thus PREJUDGING the DECISION of the PSC. In this way, it attempts to bring pressure to bear upon the PSC, and ultimately the GOSL, to achieve its Eelamist goals, PRECLUDING the possibility that the PSC … supposedly reflecting the wishes of ALL political segments of Sri Lanka … MAY NOT RECOMMEND a solution that meets the Eelamist goals of the TNA.
My recommendation to the PSC is not to advocate anything that sets the stage for Sri Lanka to be again divided on communal bases of race, religion, language, caste, or sex. Power should not be devolved to a group of people firmly wedded to the notion of racial separatism and separate destinies for different communities of Sri Lanka. That is a prescription for national suicide.
Instead, the PSC should recognize that ALL people of Sri Lanka can be served equitably, only by making the governance of Sri Lanka BLIND to communal differences, banishing communal attributes from the PUBLIC SPHERE to the PRIVATE SPHERE of people’s lives as INDIVIDUALS where DIVERSITY can reign in its full glory to enrich people’s lives. Embedding communal divisions in governance in the guise of assuring “diversity” is a false misguided approach to democracy, designed to transforming Sri Lanka into a patchwork of racist apartheid bantustans walled-off in supreme isolation perpetually at war with one another.
The GUIDING PRINCIPLE should be the preservation of EQUAL RIGHTS and EQUAL RESPONSIBILITIES of ALL citizens of Sri Lanka, not ONE IOTA more, not ONE IOTA less. irrespective of communal considerations. Sri Lankan citizens ALREADY ENJOY such rights under the existing laws of Sri Lanka that allpy equally to all citizens and regions of the country. The Tamil people already enjoy to all those rights as the Sinhala, Mulim and other communities … despite the false manufactured allegations of discrimination that the Eelamists make to keep the pot boiling and gain rights unavailable to other citizens of Sri Lanka.
Let us REJECT the myopic vision of the TNA of Sri Lanka as a collection of communities separated by fear, and march towards becoming the New Wonder of Asia as ONE Unitary Nation, of ONE Unified People, sharing ONE National Destiny.

Since India does not understand the PRINCIPLE OF NON-INTERFERENCE in the Internal Affairs of its neighbors, let the GOSL take steps to RECIPROCATE their behavior.
Let Sri Lanka offer its “Good Offices” to every separatist group in India (Muslim Kashmiris and Assamese spring to mind) by hosting conferences on “POLITICAL SOLUTIONS” to their GRIEVANCES and UNFULFILLED ASPIRATIONS for independent nations, irrespective of whether those demands are reasonable or not, or what DAMAGE it does to the integrity of India.
In addition, let us aggressively pursue a program of promoting “human rights and democracy” in India. Let us, as close cousins of the people of India, assert an inalienable right to supervise devolution of sovereign power as a solution to India’s separatist conflicts.
Perhaps DOING UNTO THEM WHAT THEY DO UNTO US would SUCCEED in getting the attention of Indian Leaders to our strong opposition to Indian Interference in the internal affairs of Sri Lanka, given that expressions of friendship and good neighborliness have ABJECTLY FAILED.
NOTHING works as well as fitting one’s tormentors into the same torture body suit that they prescribe for us.
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Sri Lanka Tamil party delegation to leave for India today

Oct 10, Colombo: A seven-member delegation of Tamil National Alliance (TNA), Sri Lanka’s major Tamil party, will leave for India today on an invitation extended by the Indian government to hold discussions on the ethnic issue.
During their four-day tour to New Delhi, the TNA delegation is scheduled to hold discussions with Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and other government officials in New Delhi on a solution to the ethnic issue.
The delegation, led by TNA Leader R. Sampanthan will include TNA parliamentarians Selvam Adekkalanadan, Mavai Senathirajah, Suresh Premachandran, M. A. Sumanthiran, Appathurai Vinayagamoorthy, and P. Selvarasa.
They will however not hold discussions with the Tamil Nadu politicians during their short tour, a TNA member has said.
The talks will be focused on finding a sustainable solution to the ethnic issue and the welfare of the Tamil community in the North and the East.
The Indian government has offered help to create a platform to restart stalled talks between the Sri Lankan government and TNA on the ethnic issue and it is expected that the Indian government will persuade the TNA to participate in the proposed Parliamentary Select Committee to bring up a permanent solution to the power devolution.
