Wijedasa Rajapakse (WR) wanted to bring a law to remove monks from politics.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ What did this Sinhala Buddhist (he says he talks as a Sinhala Buddhist) do to Sinhala Buddhists? Does he not consider that putting a halal label even to a tooth brush or a spoon made out of a coconut shell and women covering their faces with only two holes for the eyes as unreasonable acts? Did he know that Ven. Soma came to politics because laymen and women like him were scared of opening their mouths for fear of death? Does he know that when princes Dutugamaunu and Saddhatissa were fighting against each other it was a monk who hid Saddhatissa under a bed and brought the two together?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ WR says Mahanayakas and Anunayakas are there to solve problems without radical monks. Did he know that Buddhism was saved by the monks from coastal areas such as Migettuwatte Gunananda and the Vidyalankara Pirivena and not by Asgiriya or Malwatta?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ British used A and M monks like the House of Lords in UK for decorative purposes.

Premadasa used send as trade reps those who can only speak in Sinhala or Tamil who hid from people at trade shows because the questions were asked from them in English!! My concern really was about what WR said about the 13-A. We must educate this man WR who is known as a golden brain in the present world of Sri Lanka. WR asked, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Why canƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t we give a PC to Tamils in NP just like we gave it to the south?ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ It is only an idiot who will not see that PCs in the south was hell.

Delhi cannot impose Presidential Rule on Tamil Nad and even Hillary Clinton ignored Delhi and met directly Tamil Nadu jokers of Jayalalitha and Karnunadhi clans.

Unless Jihadists in SL stop calling BBS extremist and racist, I say SL should join USA in Afghanistan to kill them. Then USA will DROP ALL allegations and resolutions against SL.
Why should we protect a bunch of racist Jihadists in SL from USA? This way we can BYPASS Endia and reach USA for a very special friendship. Then we can use that friendship to BUST ALL our enemies.

(C) A/S Blake raised the possibility of Sri Lanka contributing to U.S.-led coalition operations in Afghanistan, noting that would be a significant step in support of improving military-to-military engagement. Rajapaksa replied that contributing forces for combat operations right now would be too politically sensitive during the current election season in Sri Lanka. He added that the GSL would have to consider seriously the implications for its Muslim minority as well as the danger of drawing the ire of groups like Al-Qaida and Lashkar-e-Taiba by becoming a force provider. He said a possible alternative for Sri Lanka might be to provide training assistance to Afghan security forces under the auspices of a non-governmental organization or private company. He recalled a local precedent for this approach, dating back to 1985-1986 when a South Africa-based company had provided security assistance to Sri Lanka in the early years of the war with the LTTE. He said the company had provided military and security experts from a host of countries, including the United Kingdom, other Commonwealth nations, and even some Russians. For four or five years, the company was based in Jaffna and had trained Sri Lankan pilots and taught infantry tactics, including close quarters combat skills.
