The circus about Sri Lanka’s alleged human rights violationsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and Canada boycotting the Commonwealth Summit is spinning storiesƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and swinging in its trapeze acts sansƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ opinions from the Sri Lankan-Sinhalese community.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Now I read comments fromƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the Canadian Tamil Congress spokesperson David Poopalapillai andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ theirƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ acquired voice of John Argue of Amnesty International who were given $50,000 publicly by the Canadian Tamil Congress two Septembers ago in Toronto.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ TheƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Tamils are being discriminated by the majority SinhaleseƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ they say and that is why they arrived in CanadaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ as refugeesƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ by passing their Mother country Tamil Nadu in South India where 72 million Tamils live, they say.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Go figure out why Maclean’s of April 29, 1996 said that more han 8,600 Sri Lankan refugees in Canada had applied for travel documents at the Sri Lankan High CommissionƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ to visit Sri Lanka in 1992,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The following year the figure was 5,865.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ These are the Tamil refugee claimants who feared persecution in their ‘home land’, Sri Lanka.

Latest “tourists” to SriLanka would be those Tamil illegal immigrants, still languishing in foreign countries awaiting approval of permanent residency. The reason would be to get themselves “tortured’ by organised gangs or self inflict injuries like cigarette but burnings, lashings etc, so that they could get back to these foreign lands and claim for refugee status, claiming they have connections with the LTTE and therefore “tortured by the SL Govt security forces”.

Sri Lankan govt SHOULD NOT ALLOW ANY OF THESE TRAITORS TO VISIT SRI LANKA AS THEY CAN BURN THEMSEVES AS SOORIYARACHI SAYS AND DAMAGE SRI LANKAN IMAGE & HOSPITALITY AS MOST TAMIlLS ARE ILLETYERATE TRAITORS WHO HAVE NO GREATFULLNESE FOR THE COUNTRY WHO EDUCATED THEM WITH PUBLIC-MOSTLY OF SINHALESE PEOPLES’ TAX MONEY!!!
