Joe bee  Perera is a real” bee” among prominent Sri Lankan singers who has  given best and quality musical “honey’ to the listeners as well as viewers. His successful journey was not easily achieved towards his popularity by him . he faced so many obstacles during yester year, but Joe bee was never ever discouraged the  so many barriers he had to face during his  victories journey.

He is  an unforgettable and prestigious vocalist who has deeply deposited his creations into our hearts and engraved our minds as well like  late Clarence Wijewardana,Melroy Darmarathna,Noel Ranasinghe,late Neville Fernando, etc. Joe Bee has multiple talents of music not only Sinhala songs but also Spanish, English etc.

He penned songs made nice melodioes. Joe B is another superb product of Maris Stella College ,Negombo. Amids his busy life as an  executive manager of Bank of Ceylon.he continued his sweet sounding life .(although he retired now, he is contributing his great talents for music) During his very young age he had given an incalculable, dedicated contribution for X’mas carols and other religious festivals for Bolawalana, Kurana Catholic churches in Negombo . He used to be a main singer and acoustic guitarist   of choirs of these churches.

No words to articulate Joe B’s famous song “yakada thalanna” still  very famous among  not only adults but also the young generations. Wherever we go for a party or any fun filled gatherings we can hear this beautiful song sung by the participants..Among the  other well popular songs sung by  Joe Bee, are.”sudu mal” “,mala giravi”,”siripa gamana”etc..
