පුදනකොටම කා පී යකා කිව්වා වාගේ ඒ ජාප යේ ලොක්කෝ දැන්සිටම මයිත්‍රී පාච්චල් කිරීම අරඹා ඇත.
දළදා මාලිගා වේදීම කිරි ඇ ල්ලේ බෙරිහන් දුන්නේ ” දැනගනින් මම ලෝයර් කෙනෙක් උඹ නිකම්ම ග්‍රාමසේවක , ක්ලාක් කට්ටෙක් ”කියමිනි උද්ධච්ච මහන්තත්ත ඒ ජා ප නායකයන් ඉදිරියේ මේ ගමේ මිනිහා කෙසේනම් ඔලුව උස්සය් ද. සිරිසේන ජනාධිපති වුනත් රනිල් ට sir නොකිව්වොත් කොතනදී හෝ වාඩුව ගන්නවා ඇත.
සරත් ෆොන්සේකා රනිල් ට sir නොකීම ගැන ආඩ පලියක් තිස්ස අත්තනායකගේ පොතේ ඇත. ගමේ බය්යා , ගොය්යා ග්‍රාමයා ආදී අපහාස උපහාස විඳිමින් දිනුවත් දින 100න් බලවතා වන්නේ රනිල් ය.
නාමික ජනපති කමක් ඇතිකලොත් චන්ද්‍රිකා ට එය දෙන්න රනිල් කැමති වන්නේ පැලැන්තිය රැකීමට ය. අවසානයේ දී සිරිසේනට ඇමතිකමක් ලැබෙනු ඇත. සිරිසේන දිගටම විධායක ජනපතිකමේ සිටියොත් වැඩේ ජෝන් බාස්ට යය් .
එහෙත් එතරම් හැකියාවක් ඔහුට අතය් සිතිය නොහැක. පහල තැනකින් ආවත් ප්‍රේමදාස එවැන්නෙක් විය . ප්‍රේමදාස දක්ෂයෙකි එහෙත් සිරිසේන සියල්ල හැරදමා යය්ද දේශපාලනයට ආවේ එහෙම යන්නද අගමැතිකම නොලැබීම ගැන මෙතරම් විරසකයක් වුනේ නම් ලැබුන බලය දමා ගෙදර යන්න ඔහු කැමති වෙය් ද.. නොගියොත් රටම ගිනිතියන්න ඒ ජා පය සුදානම් වනු ඇත.
එක්කෝ හමුදා කුමන්ත්‍රණයක් දියත් වෙනු ඇත. 13 අ ගැන වචනයක් වත් නොකියන නිසා සිංහල බෞද්ධ සංවිධාන හෝ සිරිසේනට රැකවරණ නොදෙනු ඇත.
හමුදා ලොක්කෝ නම් මවා ගැනීමට ඔහුට හැකියාවක් පෞරුෂයක් නැත. මේ සම්ම ජාතියේ එජා ප යට බලය ලබා ගැනීමට නොහැකි නිසා අසරණ ඉත්තෙක් ඉදිරියට දමා ඒ ජා පය කරන්නේ ලජ්ජා නැති වැඩකි
සිංහලයන් විශේෂයෙන් බෞද්ධයන් භේද භින්න කර කෙසේ හෝ බලය ලබාගැනීමට කරන මේ උත්සාහය මහා අලජ්ජී ක්‍රියාවක් ලෙස ඉතිහාස ගත වනු ඇත.
මෙයිනුත් පැරදුන විට රනිල් ට ආත්මයක් නැතිවේ . මේ සියලුම බලවේග පරදවා දිනන්නට මහින්දට ඇති ඒකායන මග නම් 13a සහ පළාත් සභා අහෝසි කිරීම හෝ එසේ කරන බවට ජනතාව ඉදිරියේ දිවුරා පොරොන්දුවීමය්.
එවිට ජය සිකුරුය් . ශාන්තිවාදී තාපසයට සිදුවුනා මෙන් සිරිසේන ට ලොක්කන්ගේ ප්‍රහා ර නිසා අවයව එකින් එකඅහිමි වී මිය යන්නට සිදු වුනොත් පුදුමයක් නොවේ

This is not abut scolding some one or saying sir. The question is what did Sirisena bring to the common candidate. He seems to have promised to drag few dozens from the government and only brought the old madam and a few. Please think of substance not words.

I have seen such threats ,death warning in some other articles , some comments too . today maithreepala also said something about death threats on him. mr darmasiri , do you really believe the possibility of killing him ?
no matter whoever come to power public must be aware of these things, they should try to prevent such political killing at any cost. this is very dangerous development. I do notknow wether he is a shanthiwadi thapasaya or not but relatively innocent than other crooks in politics. i condemn such killing or , death threats etc .

Bnadara, As you know there is saying in Sinhala “garndi marala paw ganne mokatada?”why sin killing rat snakes. no one will even think of killing Sirisena.
He is just claiming so to add some importance to him.
He knows as every one else that he is a lame horse in the race and can never win. The sole purpose he is contesting is for some handsome monetary benefits in return for saving Ranil’s ass.

NOTHING violent will happen to Palwatte Gamaralage Maithripala Yapa Sirisena before his attains his TRUE career as a standup COMIC.
We are CONVINCED that nobody does ANYTHING RASH, because he is TOO VALUABLE to both the Government and the Opposition. Consider:
1. He is valuable to the Opposition because this stupid but brave man single-handedly rescued the Opposition from the SHEER EMBARASSMENT of not being able to locate a “Common Candidate” on their own.
2. He is valuable to the Government because his ABSURD POLICY abolishing the EP in 100 days is the best ADVERTISEMENT for RE-ELECTING for President Mahinda Rajapaksa by a LANDSLIDE! It will SINK the Opposition.
His policy statement is ABSURD because,
1. It cannot be done without 2/3 majority in Parliament,
2. It would hand over power through the backdoor to Ranil, the UNP and the TNA who would promptly begin dismantling the nation, and
3. It would end in delivering our War-Winning Leaders and War-Heroes, bound hand and foot, to the Western Powers for prosecution on War Crimes. This the People of Sri Lanka would NEVER allow.
Therefore, NEITHER the Opposition, NOR the GOVERNMENT would harm this very valuable, but uncommonly stupid “Common Candidate”. He is their GREATEST POLITICAL ASSET at this time!

yes NAK, I also do not think these threats are real. i wrote because the writer has written about a possible “lokkange prahara”. i thought what he meant by lokkan is his main political rivals.

In your writing I feel that you have a soft corner to MS. I too feel this way, although I don’t like him joining Runil and Chandrika.
He too played his part in the war by supporting the president in everyway.
He survived 2 LTTE bombs.
He proposed him as the UPFA candidate whilst he himself was preferred by some powerful alliance members.
He was in SLFP for nearly 50 years.
He is one of the least corrupted man.
He tried so hard to pass bill to impose 80% coverage warning on cigarettes but under the USA pressure by faceless power brokers close to president.

Yes , he is a Gamarala but the whole Sinhala nation should be proud of him. I am personally proud of him and wish him all the best, even though my preference is different.

AGREE. MR and family will be the BIGGEST LOSERS of the mudslinging game. So we should NOT go there.
MS should find someone to NEUTRALISE Wimal Weerawansa. A good orator is needed.
IF MS is pitted against WW, MS will crap in his sarong. He should avoid it.
