It would be much\nappreciated if readers read this article with a positive and constructive mind,\nrather with a negative and destructive mind to criticise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the early\ncenturies, people in India were classified into various categories on caste\nbasis. Indians had a category known as untouchables (\u0ba4\u0bc0\u0ba3\u0bcd\u0b9f\u0ba4\u0bcd\u0ba4\u0b95\u0bbe\u0ba4 \/ \u0db1\u0ddc\u0db4\u0dd0\u0dc4\u0dd0\u0daf\u0dd2\u0dbd\u0dd2<\/strong>). The\ndisgraceful part is that the Indians categorised people based on their\nprofession. India has safety standards; however, they never apply and practice\nthe safety standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The untouchables and\nsome lower caste (\u0db4\u0dc4\u0dad\u0dca \u0d9a\u0dd4\u0dbd\u0dba) people were not allowed\ninto temples, not touch<\/strong> higher case people, not be close<\/strong>\nto them, not fetch water from their wells, not bathe in rivers and several\nother unhuman kinds of practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the 21st<\/sup>\ncentury, current era, even the top powerful person, Prince Charles heir to the\nthrone of the UK did not shake hands with others, be close to people, hug\nanyone else and be unlike another normal person. The wife of the PM of Canada,\nPM of Spain, and several people cannot be like normal persons. This\ndefinitively does not mean that they are untouchables. The PM of Canada<\/strong>\nis a top human being who loves everyone irrespective of their race, creed or\ncolour and a top Boxer. Such a lovely kind person (PM-Canada) has his wife\ninfected with Corvid-19. What is the cause? Its Nature, irrespective of who\ntheir god is. These people are not<\/strong> from the ancient disgracefully\ncategorised category known as low caste and untouchable. They are top officials\nand high-class humans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today law has been\nenforced to maintain a distance of 1.5 meters between two people, no gathering\nof more than 10 people, no congregating in temples, roads, mosques, churches,\nno hoarding of foodstuffs etc. These laws were enacted by law enforcers in the legislature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the early centuries,\nman-made cultural practice made these habits based on caste distinction. Even\nnow the Tamil folks practice the caste system in SriLanka and India. These\npractices evolved among the Indians. After attending a funeral people do not\nenter homes but take a head bath and various practice were practised by the\nIndians. No handshakes but say Vanakkam (\u0d86\u0dba\u0dd4\u0db6\u0ddd\u0dc0\u0db1\u0dca ) with their\ntwo hands together.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It may be that\nthe world may get back to the old system of cultural practice quite soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why did the\ncaste system evolve? It’s all based on financial status and capability. Liquor\nand toddy were sold at a very cheap price, and it was based on supply and\ndemand. Thus, the financial status of a toddy tapper was quite low. To have a\ngood decent life people need money. This applies to the Fisherfolks also. Hence\nbased on the financial capacity of the people they were oppressed under the\ncaste system. Today the fisher folks are well to do people and rich. This\noppression and suppression prevail in India and SriLanka only. In the Muslim\nrace caste system does not conquer the people and all are treated equal. Even\namong the Tamil and Sinhala Diaspora the caste system prevails among them\nwherever they are domiciled. A lower caste person is not recognised even if\nthat person is intelligent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today Nature has\nbrought all to be equal in living standards and they cannot evade these\nstandards. This is by law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Australians are\nproud of our Prime Minister Scott Morrison and his team<\/strong>, for his\ncompetency, reliability, capability, and the effort he has been making to\nprotect the Australians. Majority of the Australians are following the advice\nhe had given to the people. The PMs effort during the last few months had made\nhim be a Statesman<\/strong> in Australia similar to the former John Howard. May Nature<\/strong>\nrelive Australia from this evil Corvid-19 pressure. May all citizens of\nAustralia listen to the PM and follow his guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this\njuncture, it would be appropriate to honour the SriLankan governance,\nespecially the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, His deputy Mr Mahinda Rajapaksa,\nDefence Secretary Kamal Gunaratna and the Army Commander Lt Gen. Shavendra\nSilva for their efforts in keeping SL to be with minimum Corvid-19 infection\nand the people are co-operating except a few Tamils who travelled from Italy\nwent on hiding in Point Pedro. Relatively SL has very few victims compared to\nIndia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The military is\nto be commended for sacrificing their lives to protect the Northern people\n(Tamils) from infection. The army works from day and night to keep people safe.\nThe world should acknowledge and commend the SL military and praise them for\nthe services they are rendering irrespective of caste, creed and race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is hoped that\nSriLankans and Indians will now understand what the practice means. It is hoped\nthat the world may get back to the Indian customs and practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
