As usual, it went viral in China, but not elsewhere, unlike\u00a0\u00a0Corona !!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Packaged\ntoilet paper wasn&#8217;t sold in the United States until 1857.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Joseph Gayety,\nthe man who introduced packaged TP to the U.S. had his name printed on every\nsheet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5. Global toilet paper demand uses nearly 30,000 trees every day. AND\nRISING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. That&#8217;s 10\nmillion trees a year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Other things\nthat were used before toilet paper include: Hay, corn cobs, sticks, stones,\nsand, moss, hemp, wool, husks, fruit&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;\n&nbsp; peels, ferns, sponges, seashells, knotted ropes, and broken pottery\n(ouch!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>15. 70-75% of the\nworld still doesn&#8217;t use toilet paper because it is too expensive or there is\nnot sufficient plumbing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>16. In many\nWestern European countries, bidets are seen as more effective and preferable to\ntoilet paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>17. Coloured\ntoilet paper was popular in the U.S. until the 1940s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>18. The reason\ntoilet paper disintegrates so quickly when wet is that the fiber used to make\nit are very short.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>19. On the International Space Station, they still use regular toilet paper but it has to be sealed in special containers and\u00a0Compressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>20. During Desert\nStorm, the U.S. Army used toilet paper to camouflage their tanks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>21.\nThe Pentagon uses, on average, 666 rolls of toilet paper per day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>22.
