The\nrevelations from the newly structured Presidential Commission appointed by the\nPresident Gotabaya Rajapakse, are now in the public domain. None of these\nrevelations were brought to light during previous Presidential Commission or\nthe Parliamentary Select Committee.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nevidence produced by new and old witnesses  gives a clear indication that\nsome of them have been suppressed from coming before either the previous\nPresidential Commission or Parliamentary Select Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.\nAT PARLIAMENTARY SELECT COMMITTEE LEVEL:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nwell-known characters  made up the membership of this PSC, viz. Dr. Rajitha Senaratne, Rauf Hakeem and Ravi\nKarunanayake,  Sarath Fonseka, Prof. Ashu Marasinghe and Dr. Jayampathy\nWickramaratne from government side and TNA parliamentarians MA Sumanthiran and\nJVP Parliamentarian Nalinda Jayathissa representing the opposition. \nThis was the world best  smoke-screen!  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the release of the Report, Mr Rauf Hakeem made a public\nstatement which now appear to be the best JOKE  of the year, where he said\nin Kurunegala: Minister Hakeem stated\nthat the Opposition raises doubts about the Select Committee Report because\nthey fear that if the Easter Sunday carnage matter is further investigated, the\nalleged surreptitious activities of the State intelligence and the way they got\nmishandled by certain covert sources will come to light. This is the very\nreason for the Opposition to condemn the credibility of the Select Committee\nReport.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The administrative hierarchy had been cleverly built, in the\nfirst place by suppressing the some  Police Team not either reluctant to\ncome forward or not allowed to come forward.  Secondly, the PSC had its\nwork cut out to predetermined outcomes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those who planned the Easter Attack are increasingly living in\nfear of being brought to account for their participation  in aiding and\nabetting  the crime.<\/strong>   And\nthere could be others who tried to cover up the truth after the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was one of the reasons the crooks  and stooges of the\nprevious government attempted to recall the old Parliament to derail the\ninvestigation process currently in progress.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is alarming that  the former Journalist and\n Marxist, Victor Ivan turned Capitalist, (who advocate every incident\nand dispute in Sri Lanka as a major Constitutional Crisis)<\/strong>,   had\nvast resources to petition to the Supreme Court <\/strong>to recall the Parliament\nand cancel the Gazette Notification for the dissolution.  As a former\nJournalist, where was he during past years when Easter attack and Central Bank\nBond Scam  took place? What benefit could he derive  by recalling the\nParliament?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this entire episode, not only the Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith\nbut  the entire nation is awaiting anxiously to witness  appropriate\npunishment for all culprits.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
