The true test of a religion lies\nin saving and preserving life, and not destroying it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our insensitivity to killing\nof animals is a product of&nbsp; brainwashing starting from school days. This\nmust be corrected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Buddha condemned animal\nsacrifice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Buddha and Mahavira\nplayed a big role in converting India to a largely vegetarian country . Highest\npercentage of Vegetarians is in India.
