Dear President\nGotabaya,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thankfully to the smart and peace-loving Sri Lankan citizen\u2019s\ndecision that brought you to the great victory in the Presidential election in\nlast November, today whole peace-loving Sri Lankans enjoy a sigh of relief and\nconfidence for the future of Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brave and bold decisions you have executed so far courageously\nas the executive president of the country have already started showing positive\nresults to the progress of the island. As a leader who took the oath as the\npresident of Sri Lanka in front of Swarnamali Maha Chaithyaya in ancient\ncapital of Anuradhapura, you made history. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a staunch and strong supporter of you ever since we\ndecided that you are the most suitable and appropriate person to lead the\ncountry and as a person who could convince and transform many opposite voters\nfor you, I have a humble request here by to make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please ban cow slaughtering in Sri Lanka\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Buddhism also cow slaughtering has caused\nmany illnesses and calamities to befall on human beings and ever since the life\nspan of man has dropped immensely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is the high time now to ban cow slaughtering in Sri\nLanka and when the present general election is over, please issue an executive\norder to ban cow slaughtering. This sole act would make you to shine as a real\njustice leader in the world and pave the way to Thawthisa or Thusitha celestial\nworlds in your wish after this life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As arahath Mahinda mentioned to King Devanampiya Thissa\n(247 BC to 207 BC), \u2018You are not the owner of the country, but the ruler and\nthe administrator only. You cannot take lives of any living being which lives\non earth, in water or in the sky\u2019.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though there are plenty of more things to note to\njustify to ban cow slaughtering from our beloved motherland, I do not intend to\nwrite a long letter for you today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope you will have the courage and blessings to issue\nan executive order to ban cow slaughtering in Sri Lanka soon after the current\ngeneral election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you Mr. President.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

May the Triple Gem and all good guardian deities protect\nand guide you and Sri Lanka till eternity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
