What is the use of\nall the sacrifices people have been asked to go through and are making if the\nlikes of MCC come to pass. People will be made vassals in their own country.\nThe nation is being encouraged to save, to grow, to be more self-reliant, to be\nmore disciplined. All these for whose gain? Can the authorities be more honest\nwith the people and let them know the specific advantages and benefits they\nwill receive in the event MCC and the sister agreements come into effect? They\nhave no moral right to talk with foreign powers behind the back of the people\nlike the previous regime. They have no right to engage dubious individuals with\nshady pasts to decide on the future of our Motherland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is obvious the\nAmericans want to use Sri Lanka as a staging post for their war like activities\nin the region according to the Indo-Pacific Strategy, they intend setting up to\ncounter the Chinese influence in the region. If all these come to pass Sri\nLanka will be left a desolate land desecrated and violated by the US soldiery\nas has happened in so many other countries before. China too has a role to\nplay by not unnecessarily involving Sri Lanka in a power struggle not of their\nmaking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The world has\nwitnessed similar before when the US went to Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos to save\nthe East from Communism. We saw what happened when Yugoslavia was destroyed and\nthe resulting carnage \u2013 all in the name of restoring democracy. We saw what\nhappened when the US led forces invaded the Middle East to save the world from\nSaddam Hussein that finally led to 9\/11 and another invasion of Afghanistan and\nIraq leading to ISIS destabilizing a swathe of countries and their citizenry.\nWe saw the effect of \u2018colour revolutions\u2019 that ultimately ended up creating\ndivided nations and more human misery. The established order however distasteful\nhas now being replaced by a state of disorder leading to more human misery than\never before. Now we see all those people affected by the US led Western\nChristian Powers, invading the European heartland as refugees. In other words,\nthey have messed up the world and now they are reaping an immigrant invasion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have to ask the\npeople of Okinawa, Subic Bay, the Panamanians, Honduras, Chargossians, Haiti,\nHawaii   Porto Ricans and similar others\nhow much they love the Americans. Have they left any of those countries in any\nbetter shape since the American involvement in those countries? Finally, we\nhave to ask if all those people who shout to heavens Black Lives Matter\u201d how\nthey feel about their own country? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The US intend\nsetting up a land corridor from Colombo to Trincomalee through which they can\nmove all their war logistics and Sri Lanka will never be the same again. The\nreason for land titles and improvements to the road infrastructure are all to\nbenefit the invader \u2013 for him to buy land and then use the road facilities to\nmove about freely all over Sri Lanka \u2013 no passports. no visas, not subject to\nSri Lanka law. Even the British during World War II referred to the Americans\nas – “overpaid, overfed, over dressed, oversexed and over here”!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This very same\nthing happened to Hawaii and today the Hawaiians are second class citizens in\ntheir own country. To\nsell country down the drain for a mess of pottage amounting to less than $500\nMillion Dollars is a crime like no other in the history of Sri Lanka! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, this\nis an issue which should be tackled in consultation with all other countries in\nthe region. Definitely an American presence of this scale does not bode well\nfor anybody \u2013 not in Sri Lanka \u2013 not in South Asia!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reason the\nprevious Yahapalanaya led by Ranil W sold Hambantota to the Chinese is a fait\naccompli to make MCC happen! This to give an excuse to the Americans, Indians\nand others of their ilk to ask for a pound of flesh from Sri Lanka to even out\nthe balance of forces. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chinese loan\nfor the construction of the Hambantota Port was ~$1.5 Billion. Now for a\nconsideration of less than that amount we have handed over not only the Port\nper se but also an indescribably a valuable piece of real estate on which the\nport sits on a supposed to be lease that can go up to 198 years! There is\nnobody living today to witness what will happen to this land with a title that\ngoes in history beyond 2600 years. What sort of a deal is this? Those involved\nmust be brought to book and sent to prison! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

RANIL W WAS TASKED\nTO MAKE SRI LANKA A FAILED STATE. DURING THE LAST 5 YEARS THAT WAS HIS MAIN JOB\nSET UP BY HIS TASKMASTERS IN WASHINGTON AND TO WHICH HE AND HIS COHORTS SO\nWILLINGLY SUBSCRIBED IS NOW MORE THAN OBVIOUS. HE MADE ARRANGEMENTS TO BRING\nDOWN THE ECONOMY WITHIN WEEKS OF GRABBING POWER \u2013 RESULT BOND SCAMS! HE MADE\nARRANGEMENTS TO DESTROY SRI LANKA\u2019S SECURITY STRUCTURES \u2013 RESULT EASTER SUNDAY\nATTACKS AND RISE OF JIHADISM! ATTACK ON AGRICULTURE \u2013 RESULT IMPORT DEPENDENT\nNATION. ALL THIS CAME TO PASS. FORTUNATELY FOR SRI LANKA, THE ORDINARY SRI\nLANKANS \u2013 MAJORITY SINHALA BUDDHISTS PREVAILED AND BROUGHT ABOUT A CHANGE OF\nGOVERNMENT AND A RESOUNDING WIN FOR POHOTTUWA AT THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION AND\nLATER AT THE PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS NOT WITHSTANDING THE PANDEMIC! ARE ALL\nTHESE SACRIFICES TO NO AVAIL! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All those who voted\nfor Pohottuwa never envisaged that they will have to face an issue so dire and\ntraitorous such as the MCC sell out so early in this administration. This would\nout rank even Ranil W\u2019s Central Bank Bond Scam several fold if it ever come to\npass! May wise counsel prevail!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only way is to\nstrengthen Sri Lanka\u2019s armed forces and begin national conscription. Only a\nstrong Sri Lanka that can withstand the outside forces as well as provide\nsecurity guarantees to India on her southern flank and to other nations in the\nregion. It is strange how India is going to benefit from going into a\npartnership with the US, Japan and Australia to counter China. India should\nvery well understand that the ultimate end game of the US led Western Christian\nPowers is to balkanize India \u2013 a country that is aspiring to be eventually as\npowerful as China in the coming decades. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is in the best\ninterests of India and China to keep Sri Lanka neutral. Sri Lanka, just like\nSingapore should be afforded the wherewithal to become powerful militarily and\nkeep the sea lanes south of Sri Lanka in the Indian Ocean safe for all comers\nincluding the US, Japan, Australia and other nations of the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CHINA IS NOT\nHELPING ANYBODY INCLUDING THEMSELVES IN HER STEAMROLLER DRIVE TO \u2018COLONIZE\u2019\nOTHER NATIONS USING HER ECONOMIC STRENGTH. WHAT HAPPENED TO OTHER EMPIRES WILL\nBEFALL CHINA TOO IN THE END. BEING A NATIONS WITH MUCH WISDOM AND A KNOWLEDGE\nAND EXPERIENCE FROM HISTORY, CHINA SHOULD REFRAIN FROM BECOMING ANOTHER BULLY\nAND A FOLLY!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
