Dear Editor:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You asked a very simple question, Can a Tamil Tiger Change his Stripes? <\/em><\/strong>This is about Suresh\u00a0Sriskandaraja, “Waterloo Suresh”, a smart Tamil Tiger, an extremely\u00a0intelligent Tamil Tiger, a clever Tamil Tiger,\u00a0 who almost hoodwinked the American and Canadian Intelligence, but was charged in the FBI probe and arrested\u00a0in New York after a meeting to buy anti-aircraft missiles and other military weapons, and also researching\u00a0and acquiring\u00a0communications, aviation\u00a0and warship-design software, to win a separatist war to create a mono-ethnic, separate, racist Tamil state, Eelam, in the North and East of Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This smart Tamil Tiger had no\u00a0compunction\u00a0to kill and mime my innocent Sri\u00a0 Lankan village-fishers\u00a0and farmer-Sinhalese\u00a0who went to bed in their adobe huts, wanting to wake up and smell the morning’s earth and enjoy\u00a0a hot cup of tea;\u00a0 the kids wanting to wake up and play ball with their\u00a0buddies; and infants who were plucked off their\u00a0mother’s\u00a0breasts before they could suck another\u00a0drop of their mother’s\u00a0milk, and celebrated the infant’s kill when the head was smashed against a rock and watched\u00a0the ketchup blood oozing off a shattered skull.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am a Sinhalese Buddhist but have\u00a0great difficulty to forgive\u00a0and forget what Suresh did to my unarmed border-innocent\u00a0people for\u00a0the\u00a0want of his separate\u00a0Tamil State, Eelam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My verdict is that all that this\u00a0smart Tamil Tiger said was a pretense\u00a0until he is licensed to be a lawyer.\u00a0 His Tiger stripes are indelible and are there to stay.\u00a0 Despite his new Mantra\u00a0being\u00a0a good Tamil, I am prepared\u00a0to bet my last dollar that this smart Tamil Tiger Suresh\u00a0will be communicating\u00a0with\u00a0members\u00a0of his former stable mates, the day after the\u00a0door is opened to be an active lawyer, advising them pro-bono\u00a0<\/em>how to achieve their Eelam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suresh, that is how your cookie crumbles in my eyes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
