Finally in 2020 the world has  realised that Globalisation\nhas   completely failed.  It\u2019s master,  USA is struggling\nunable to select a President , leading the world with the   spread of\nCOVID.  Sri Lanka  had the wisdom to  appoint a President and to\ngo beyond many countries to protect the people from  COVID .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wake up Sri Lanka  face the truth, get your heads out of\nthe sand, do not wait for foreign funds to manage our lands .   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most distinctive approach for us is to act now for a new\nstrategy,  provide our  own food.  Forget all the World Bank\nreports and MCC  . They all  planned to  capture our lands; to\nhand over our  lands  to  large Agri based companies that had\ncommercial interest .  People rose to save our lands.  The  MCC\n introduced foreign laws to remove all our traditional laws that apply to\nsmall farmers and Chena cultivators.  Until\nCOVID came along, we could not face these external storms, where we were\nvirtually to believe we are doing well if we  reach higher positions of\nthe indices drawn by them; such as the Doing Business Index.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Rights of freeborn men enjoy the maximum use of land not\naccess to land which is the capitalist theory,  that says lands must be\narranged in a register to be able to be sold and mortgaged  as \nvehicles.  .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robbed of the truth for centuries and for 72 years after\nindependence, at least now shall we plan our own strategy for our capital asset\nland.   Let\u2019s have local reforms to allow  lessees of government\nlands to cultivate.  Lets give those who deserve Rs 5000 a piece of land\non lease to cultivate.  I am sure our politicians will not disagree.\n   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How could we have  not realised,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1]that we have land that will allow anything to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2]there is sunshine from 6 AM to 6 PM every day with plenty of\nwater<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3] that we do not require deeds, lease rights permit\n  bank loans according to the statutes we have<\/p>\n\n\n\n
