No global\ntender was held. No effort whatsoever was made to list on the stock market. No\neffort seemingly made to screen domestic partners. No serious global player\nsought.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

No nation\non Earth goes to India for infrastructure.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

An MOU (which itself mentioned Japan and not exclusively\nthe pathetic Indians) is not a legally binding agreement. For the government to\nsay otherwise is an OUTRIGHT LIE.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

India is\nknown to have actively worked to destroy and suppress this country.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ceylon\/Sri\nLanka has never been part of India, is not now and never will be. We are not in\n“India’s backyard”. This is an independent country.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

India’s\ninterests are of no concern to us.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

India has\nnowhere else to take its transhipments.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adani has\nserious corruption charges ongoing in Australia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This President it seems – like his predecessor – lacks the\nspine, the patriotism and the will to do what is necessary.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Elected\nservants of this country would do well to remember that their allegiance should\nbe to the people of THIS nation. Not to India.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That our\nleaders cancel various beneficial South Korean, Chinese and Japanese projects\n(which often included actual legal agreements) and would sell out to the\nIndians speaks volumes about their competence and allegiance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Indo\nLanka Accord is also illegal and has no validity. The Port of Trincomalee and\nother assets should not be under Indian control either.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If India is deciding what happens here, there is no point\nof an independent Ceylon\/Sri Lanka. Corrupt and treasonous politicians who are\nabsolutely useless have ruined this beautiful country which has massive\npotential.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

ALL citizens – irrespective of party, ethnicity, region of\nresidence, age, etc – should be appalled at this dreadful decision which is\nnothing short of high treason.<\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
