{"id":111474,"date":"2021-02-08T17:09:38","date_gmt":"2021-02-09T00:09:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lankaweb.com\/news\/items\/?p=111474"},"modified":"2021-02-08T17:09:38","modified_gmt":"2021-02-09T00:09:38","slug":"restless-politicians-on-both-sides-due-to-upcoming-court-cases","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lankaweb.com\/news\/items\/2021\/02\/08\/restless-politicians-on-both-sides-due-to-upcoming-court-cases\/","title":{"rendered":"RESTLESS POLITICIANS ON BOTH SIDES DUE TO UPCOMING COURT CASES!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em><strong data-rich-text-format-boundary=\"true\">By M D P DISSANAYAKE<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>There\nare several&nbsp; high profile cases &nbsp;involving current and former\n&nbsp;politicians scheduled to be heard&nbsp; beginning this month.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In\naddition, there are also several Presidential\/Prime Ministerial Commissions\nfindings&nbsp; where public looking forward &nbsp;for <strong>punishment for\nwrongdoers and relief for aggrieved parties.&nbsp; <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In\nthe past, the recommendations of the Commissions appointed by the Prime\nMinister and or President&nbsp; have not been implemented in full.\n&nbsp;&nbsp;In fact these reports are not available in the public domain.
