IS HE AN IMAGE OF THE\nLATE KING BHUMIBOL ADULYADEJ OF THAILAND WHO SAID DURING HIS RULE THAT THERE\nWAS MUCH TO DO AT HOME.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

HE. Gotabaya Rajapaksa is the image\nof the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand (ninth king<\/strong> of the Chakkri dynasty (1950\u20132016), who said during his\nrule that there was too much to do at home. He was content to\ntrudge through croplands in distant provinces in an open-neck shirt and sport\ncoat, tending to the many development projects he encouraged and oversaw:\nmilk-pasteurizing plants, dams that watered rice fields, factories that\nrecycled sugar-cane stalks and water hyacinths into fuel, and countless\nothers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today Sri Lanka, our\n“MAATHRUBOOMIYA” has got a President and Leader –  like King\nBhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand who is “TRUDGING” the villages of the\nthe most remote Divisional Secretariat Divisions of our\n“MAATHRUBOOMIYA” Sri Lanka to implement and monitor the development\nprojects the president had initiated in these villages at the request of the\npeople.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bigest threat to\nthe “PEOPLES” welbeing and “DEVELOPMENT” of our\n“MAATHRUBOOMIYA” is not terrorism or extremism as it seems. IT IS THE\nCORRUPT GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AT ALL LEVELS OF PUBLIC SERVICES IN THE\nCOUNTRY. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

HE. Gotabaya\nRajapaksa, should NOT fear the 1.3 million odd public\/government servants\nbecause they may retaliate if the president takes action against them or strike\nand cripple the economy\/country, but like how the president eradicate the\nruthless LTTE in 2009 during his tenure as Secretary of Defence in the Mahinda\nRajapaksa regime, wage war against these corrupt officials and rid the country\nof this menace once and for all. Those patriotic government officials\/servants\nwho love their “MAATHRUBOOMIYA” should come forward to help the\npresident do this. The president has just 31\/2 year left of his Presidency. The\npresident should make it a “TOP PRIORITY” to rid corruption in the\ncountry during this balance period. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The people will vote\nthe present government and the president again at the next elections, if the\npresident will fulfill this inner “DESIRE” of our NATION. Even the\nhumble voters supporting the opposition, JVP, SJB, TNA, SLMC & ACMC will\ngive their votes to the president to continue this “NOBLE” task for\nthe benefit of our “NEXT GENERATION”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The people and the government\nofficials and all parliamentarians should extend their fullest support to his\ndevelopment programmes with out putting politics and party affiliations and\nimportance for “SELFISH” reasons. The country should be in their\nforemost thoughts. The Gama\nSamaga Pilisandara\u2019 programme of the President should be made a success.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
