TO EXPATS AND OTHERS – PLEASE DONATE FUNDS\nTO OBTAIN DRY RATIONS AS A GOODWILL GESTURE TO THOSE IN NEED in Jaffna. A\nrequest came in today \u2013 May 25, 2021. Due to lockdown, the Civil Society will\npurchase from known vendors and Cargills and distribute. Deliveries are not\npossible due to the lock down. <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please share with anyone\ninterested in helping. They appealed to us for help because their Nationalist\nleaders\u201d have not visited, and the diaspora overseas are not helping the poorest\nof poor. They have reached a desperate point and we need to respond to their\nappeal.  We can help them as a goodwill gesture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Register with email and\na password and proceed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are 3 options to\nmake transfers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.<\/strong>       From the checking account (which I\nhave used) and that has the lowest fees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.<\/strong>      From a debit Card<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.<\/strong>      From a Credit Card (Highest fee)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\ntransfer is acknowledged as per email provided.  Depending on the day of\nthe week it takes no more than two days to reach the receiving bank\naccount.  Also, a stage by stage notification is received from the start\nof the US$ transfer to Transferwise (now known as wise but the website responds\nto TransferWise as before) and then to the receiving account.  Email for\nArun is <\/h4>\n\n\n\n
