{"id":115092,"date":"2021-06-11T15:29:11","date_gmt":"2021-06-11T22:29:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lankaweb.com\/news\/items\/?p=115092"},"modified":"2021-06-11T15:29:11","modified_gmt":"2021-06-11T22:29:11","slug":"ceypetco-fuel-prices-hiked-from-midnight-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lankaweb.com\/news\/items\/2021\/06\/11\/ceypetco-fuel-prices-hiked-from-midnight-today\/","title":{"rendered":"CEYPETCO fuel prices hiked from midnight today"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Courtesy Adaderana<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) has decided to increase fuel prices with effect from midnight today (June 11), the Ministry of Energy says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fuel price revision has increased prices of Petrol 92 Octane by Rs. 20, Petrol 95 Octane by Rs. 23, Diesel by Rs. 7, Super Diesel by Rs. 12 and Kerosene by Rs. 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Accordingly, the new CEYPETCO fuel prices are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lanka Petrol 92 octane \u2013 Rs 157.00<br>Lanka Petrol 95 octane \u2013 Rs 184.00<br>Diesel \u2013 Rs 111.00<br>Super Diesel \u2013 Rs 144.00<br>Kerosene \u2013 Rs. 77.00<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier today, Energy Minister Udaya Gammanpila announced that the Cabinet Sub-Committee on Cost of Living (CoL) has given the nod to increase fuel prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He stated that due to the prevailing Covid-19 situation in the country, the government cannot announce the date of the effective date in advance as the public would start forming long queues near fuel stations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.postimg.cc\/kgPqwt4v\/Whats-App-Image-2021-06-11-at-21-51-26.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Courtesy Adaderana The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) has decided to increase fuel prices with effect from midnight today (June 11), the Ministry of Energy says.
