In\nappreciation of Sir Iftikhar Ayaz\u2019s Humanitarian service he has been awarded\nthe Queen’s medal for Humanitarian Service. This Medal was approved by Her\nMajesty in 2020 especially for her Realms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sir\nIftikhar Ayaz has been dedicatedly serving Humanity for decades. He received\nalmost 40 awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Iftikhar Ayaz O.B.E (Officer\nof the Excellent Order of the British Empire) has been awarded a K.B.E (Knight Commander of the\nExcellent Order of the British Empire) in Her Majesty the Queen\u2019s Birthday\nHonours for his services to the South Pacific and humanity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sir Iftikhar Ayaz has\nbeen the envoy of Tuvalu Islands since 1996 and has made valuable contributions\nto the prestige, progress and development of Tuvalu in the international\ndomain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to his appointment\nas the envoy of Tuvalu, Sir Iftikhar Ayaz served Tuvalu as a field expert of\nthe Commonwealth. He served as an advisor on education and was able to plan and\nintroduce an innovative program of education for the subsistence communities\nwhich became very popular and effective to provide vocational and skill based\neducation to the Island communities. He later worked in the South Pacific\nRegion as a Consultant with UNDP and was designated as the South Pacific\ndelegate to UNESCO. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His innovative education\nscheme known as EFL (Education for Life) was highly recognised by the\nCommonwealth and he received an O.B.E (Officer of the Excellent Order of the\nBritish Empire) in 1998. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sir Iftikhar Ayaz has\nbeen an ardent advocate of human rights and is associated with several regional\nand international human rights organisations including the UNHRC. He has been a\nmember of the UN working group for the rights of minorities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sir Iftikhar Ayaz is also\nthe Chairman of the International Human Rights Committee and at present is\nactively involved in working for the well-being and welfare of the displaced\nrefugees and asylum seekers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sir Iftikhar Ayaz is also\nthe Director of the World Media Forum and associated with a number of organisations\nserving the cause of inter-faith solidarity, conflict resolution and peace. He\nhas addressed several peace Symposium including Sri Lanka and seminars related\nto human rights and climate change. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As mentioned Sir Iftikhar\nAyaz is recipient of a number of awards from various Institutions and\nOrganizations including USA, Europe and Asia. He received the Alfred Noble\nMedal, Ambassador of Peace, Ambassador of Knowledge, Man of the Year, Genius\nLaureate for Human Development, Outstanding Professional Award, International\nPeace Prize, Life Achievement Award and Diplomate of the Cambridge Blue Book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sir\nIftikhar Ayaz holds doctorates in Human Development and Education and a\nMaster’s degree in Linguistics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sir Iftikhar Ayaz has\nalso been awarded the World Freedom Medal and is an eminent member of the\nAhmadiyya Muslim Community in Islam.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
