{"id":115749,"date":"2021-07-04T16:23:15","date_gmt":"2021-07-04T23:23:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lankaweb.com\/news\/items\/?p=115749"},"modified":"2021-07-04T16:23:15","modified_gmt":"2021-07-04T23:23:15","slug":"walk-in-vaccination-clinics-at-tri-forces-hospitals-from-monday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lankaweb.com\/news\/items\/2021\/07\/04\/walk-in-vaccination-clinics-at-tri-forces-hospitals-from-monday\/","title":{"rendered":"Walk-in vaccination clinics at tri-forces hospitals from Monday"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Courtesy Adaderana<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>On the directives from the President, walk-in COVID vaccination programs will begin from Monday (July 05) at selected hospitals operated by the tri-forces, says General Shavendra Silva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the army commander, people above the age of 30 years in Western Province can now get vaccinated at the following tri-forces hospitals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Army hospitals in Narahenpita, Panagoda and Werahera<br>\u2022 Air Force hospitals in Borella, Guwanpura, Katunayake, Ratmalana and Ekala<br>\u2022 Navy hospitals at Chaithya Road in Colombo and Welisara<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the meantime, people aged above 60 years in other provinces can receive coronavirus vaccine doses at the army hospitals at Galle Fort, Matara Nilawala Camp, Diyatalawa, Anuradhapura, Kilinochchi, Jaffna and Mullaitivu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vaccination clinics will be operative every day between 8.00 am and 4.30 pm, the army chief said further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Similarly, vaccination programs operated by Sri Lanka Army will be held at the following locations on Monday (July 05) from 8.00 am to 4.30 pm:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For people above 30 years:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Colombo District<br>\u2022 Colombo Army Hospital, Narahenpita<br>\u2022 Diyatha Uyana, Battaramulla<br>\u2022 Sri Bodhirajaramaya Army Temple, Panagoda<br>\u2022 Regimental Center &#8211; Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps, Werahera<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For people above 60 years:<br>Galle District<br>\u2022 Vidyaloka Vidyalaya, Galle<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matara District<br>\u2022 Mahinda Rajapaksa Vidyalaya, Matara<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Badulla District<br>\u2022 Security Force Headquarters, Diyatalawa<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anuradhapura District<br>\u2022 Army Hospital, Anuradhapura<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Polonnaruwa District<br>\u2022 Infantry Training School, Minneriya<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kilinochchi District<br>\u2022 Army Base Hospital, Kilinochchi<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mullaitivu District<br>\u2022 Tamil College, Puthukkudiyiruppu<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Courtesy Adaderana On the directives from the President, walk-in COVID vaccination programs will begin from Monday (July 05) at selected hospitals operated by the tri-forces, says General Shavendra Silva.
