All essential services will function as normal.&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/xn--19%20functions%20permitted%20to%20operate%20during%20curfew%20period%20%20health%20ministry-1d12d\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Read more<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the lockdown came into effect on Friday night, Colombo went silent.
