By the end of the 19th century, \u2018Marx stood Hagel on his\nhead.\u2019 But in the 21st century, grudgingly settling old scores and turning the\ntable the other way around, \u2018Shylock has stood Marx on his head\u2019 and reduced\nMarx into a mere scarecrow dangling in the horizon of the history of mankind.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not less a person than Marx himself said that history\nrepeats itself\u2026. first as tragedy and second as farce.\u201d Oh yes! Contemporary\nMarxists have proved Marx\u2019s point so profoundly and farcically.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hagel is considered to be the father of modern western\nphilosophy. It is widely accepted that his philosophical contributions provided\nthe much-needed spiritual foundation for the development of capitalism as well.\nIt is also widely accepted that Marx rearticulated Hegelian philosophy by\nchanging the fundamentals of it by taking some components of Hegel’s philosophy\nand rearranging them to reach a very different conclusion. By doing so he\npresented a newer version of philosophical thought in oppose to Capitalism. We\nidentify this school of thought as Marxism. Changing Hagel\u2019s idealism into\nmaterialism, Marx declared that he stood Hagel on his head. For the laymen,\nthis statement of Marx was presumed as that Marx stood the \u2018capitalist\u2019 on his\nhead.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A century later, in this epoch of late capitalism, history\nin many ways has taken a 180-degree turn. Today, the billionaire class neoliberal\nelite lavishly throwing money in all directions of the world have very\nsuccessfully managed to buy off the erstwhile Marxists and leftists to serve\ntheir neoliberal globalist agenda. That\u2019s how NGOs have become a lucrative\nbusiness for the left. Today, billionaires like George Soros, through their\nbogus philanthropic version of capitalism have managed to put Marxists into\nservility to serve the advancement of capitalism. These Marxists have become\nthe ambassadors and spokespersons of neoliberalism and globalization in the\nworld.  It is a remarkable triumph for\ncapitalism. Symbolically speaking, this is the exact reason why I call it\n\u2018Shylock to stand Marx on his head.\u201d Ironically, these three men, namely\nShylock, Marx, and George Soros are happened to be Jewish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Marx\u2019s remark about history\u2026. If we take the fall of\nthe Soviet Union as the tragedy of history, then George Soros\u2019 craftily\nmanaging to bring Marxists to their knees and making them into subservience of\ncapitalism must be considered as the farce of history. We are living in a very\ninteresting epoch of the social evolution of mankind. I am not sure how many of\nyou have noticed these ludicrous realities of our time.
