Dear  Mr. M.A. Sumanthiran:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You must be surprised to receive another OPEN\nLETTER from me in eight days .  Here is the reason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have come across your name during many, many moons, and\nhave read your Tamil concerns and dismissed them  as Tamil separatist\nhumbuggery-tosh and put them aside;  Suman, I hope you noticed that I\ndid not throw them into the waste paper basket but kept them aside\nfor future references and to deal with them if I had to.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I had to deal with Appapillai Amirthalingam to prove to\nthe late Robert Wenman, Conservative  MP for Fraser Valley in British\nColumbia,  as a Tamil rascally politician who went about in a\nsaintly-vetti, as a “moderate Tamil.”.  But  he was\na  Goddam, bloody liar, who told Canadian parliamentarians that he had\nnever asked for a mono-ethnic, racist Tamil state, Eelam.  Robert \nWenman got him on VHS tape. I will come to that incident later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But what pinched me and got my goat is how you had adopted\nMadam Michelle Bachelet, who is on a contract as the United Nations High\nCommissioner for Human Rights  (UNHRC) which was dismissed as a\n“cesspool of political bias<\/em><\/strong>” by United States’  Nikki\nHaley, as the caretaker of yours and my Sri Lanka.  So you go crying\nto her whenever you sneeze or when your belly aches saying ..”Mummy..Mummy\nMichelle,  Sri Lanka is not being nice to me..nor nice to us Tamils.\n.”<\/em>  Ha! What a joke!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suman, let me be absolutely loud and clear to You as the\nnoon-hour Ding-Dong of the Big Ben that….<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0“Sri Lanka, is your land, as well as my land,\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>
from Point Pedro to Dondra Head,<\/em><\/strong>
from the Northern red drying-chilli\u00a0gardens<\/em><\/strong>
to the meandering Mahaweli waters<\/em><\/strong>
as this land was\u00a0made for You and Me.<\/em><\/strong>
And when I went walking<\/em><\/strong>
along that kabook A9\u00a0 Highway<\/em><\/strong>
I saw above me the Kandy-Jaffna skyway,<\/em><\/strong>
and saw\u00a0 below me the verdant-green valleys<\/em><\/strong>

Let’s have No “if’s and but’s”<\/strong>, and let us not start to<\/p>\n\n\n\n

spoil for another\u00a0fight, with your\u00a0Hocus-pocus\u00a0“Tamil Homeland”<\/em><\/strong> concept. when none of the heritage, ethnology,, ethnography, archaeology provides you that\u00a0luxury.to<\/a> stand\u00a0on your two feet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I find it a bit strange...no a correction<\/em>.<\/strong>..Very\nStrange<\/em><\/strong>,  that you are pushing through your adopted Mother Michelle at the UNHRC \nseeking progress on the OMP file to harass yours and my Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Listen Suman, let’s not be bull-headed about this Human Rights file of\u00a0 the “disappearing Tamils”\u00a0to harass Sri Lanka over it, until the countries that gave the Tamil runaways refuge, open their files\u00a0so\u00a0that\u00a0their parents\u00a0 can identify them.\u00a0 Until that happens you\u00a0go nowhere, nor will your adopted Mother Michelle. on this issue, You all look like a bunch\u00a0of farcical fools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 This is an  unhealthy game of Hide and\nSeek; Identify me you Fools if you Can;    Boo…Hoo..Mother I am\nhere and alive, <\/strong><\/em>that you all are playing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Amma, I am Harry, not Hari your son anymore.”\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>And there are so many possible permutations in such board Games.\u00a0 They’re all LOL Games. trying to fool the world and punish Sri Lanka for\u00a0having\u00a0won the “Kick-arse” Tamil Tiger Terrorist War,<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 when big Nationals owning armouries of sophisticated war-weapons weren’t \u00a0able to wipe out terrorists in places like Afghanistan.\u00a0 And that is the rub, and that’s how the “Proud” cookie crumbles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suman: Here are some\u00a0stories of Tamils who are supposed\u00a0to have “disappeared’ and the Government of Sri Lanka was suspected\u00a0for their disappearance…”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.\u00a0 “Knock..knock.. Who’s there?<\/strong>
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 “Harry Jegen<\/strong>“<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 ” I am searching for\u00a0one Hari Jeganathen from\u00a0Sri Lanka?”
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 “I’m Hari Jeganathen, now going by the name Harry Jegen for convenience.”
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 “Your\u00a0mother\u00a0has reported\u00a0that you have disappeared and perhaps\u00a0 dead.”
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 “No, tell her that\u00a0 I am quite alive and well.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.\u00a0 :Knock……knock….\u00a0 Who is there?”<\/strong>
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 “I am Jude Linken”<\/strong>
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 “I am searching for one Jothi Mahalingam”, a Tamil from Sri Lanka.”
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 “Yes,\u00a0 it is me alright.\u00a0 \u00a0I changed my name to make my life
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0uncomplicated in Canada.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toronto 1991<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.\u00a0 I identified a mystery Tamil who was linked to the Tamil\u00a0Tiger terrorists involved\u00a0in a counterfeit operation in Lawrence W. Highrise in Toronto.\u00a0 \u00a0 He was supposed to\u00a0be a “disappeared”<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Tamil.\u00a0 The suspect was one Pathmasothy Kanapathipillai.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Canadian Government should have provided that information without\u00a0 placing a badge of “Guilty of his disappearance\u00a0” <\/strong>on Mother Sri Lanka’s sari-pota. Right, Suman?\u00a0 What is this ugly game\u00a0that\u00a0you are playing.\u00a0 \u00a0Nasty..nasty Mr. lawyer!\u00a0 Read\u00a0the Toronto Star <\/em><\/strong>of 18 December\u00a01991 – Police investigating if passport forgers linked to\nterrorists<\/strong> byline by Paul Watson and Dale Brazzao.  This ‘disappeared’<\/em><\/strong>\nTamil was put behind bars for 18 months for forging\nCanadian passports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Suman. for five years of my life I spent working for the Sri Lanka Government\u00a0(1987-1994) at the\u00a0Sri Lanka High Commission in Ottawa, taking care of the Communications\u00a0portfolio.\u00a0 However, when the First Secretary was\u00a0not available who was responsible\u00a0for issuing passports to interview applicants I was asked to\u00a0 help him out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was such a day that\u00a0I went to interview\u00a0Tamil applicants, mainly Convention refugees, who were applying for passports and travel\u00a0documents.to<\/a> replace the passports that disappeared inside the aircraft before they landed claiming to be “persecuted and discriminated” <\/em><\/strong>refugees from Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We don’t have passports’ ‘<\/em><\/strong>, they would\nsay to Immigration officers at the Canadian airports where they had landed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

.I interviewed\u00a0a young guy of 22-years\u00a0who had applied for his third passport in three\u00a0months, having lost the other\u00a0two in the past\u00a0two\u00a0months.\u00a0 So he was applying for his third\u00a0one in the\u00a0third month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“So what was the going price, was it\n20,000 dollars or 25, 000 dollars. “<\/em><\/strong>I asked pointedly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It was 25, thousand dollars,\nSir”,<\/em><\/strong> he responded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“So you really didn’t lose them, you\nsold them, didn’t you?” <\/em><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Yesss..: “<\/em><\/strong> and before he could\ncomplete the sentence, his uncle who was with him butted in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Sir, I think he misunderstood your\nquestion., He doesn’t speak English well.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Sorry, Sir, your nephew did understand\nme.. he sold the previous two for 25,000 dollars each.”.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I turned to the young guy\u00a0and asked him.\u00a0 “Now that you are a\u00a0millionaire\u00a0according to the converted<\/em><\/strong>  Sri Lankan rupees, have you  told your\nMother back in Sri Lanka that you are now a millionaire,  She <\/em><\/strong>would be very happy to know”.<\/em><\/strong>
\n“No, Sir, she doesn’t know.  I have not contacted her since I\nleft home.  She doesn’t know where I am.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“So you have disappeared…right?”<\/em><\/strong> \n  He didn’t respond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I am sorry I cannot support\nthis illegal business of yours and am not prepared to issue\nanother passport.  However, I will seek advice from the Director of\nImmigration in Colombo, and let you know.`<\/em><\/strong>`  The\ndecision was that he wasn’t entitled for another passport for the\nnext three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So Sumanthiran that is the Tamil crap\u00a0 that is going on with your Tamils who flew away from the\u00a0cuckoos nests in Sri Lanka seeking greener\u00a0pastures and roads paved with gold.\u00a0 And you the lawyer, have the audacity to complaint to your adopted Mother Michelle, to go after the Sri Lankan\u00a0Government\u00a0 over\u00a0 the apparent post-Eelam War A-B-R-A-C-A-D-A-B-R-A-“disappearing Tamil Act.”\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And by the way  so that you know Suman, what I found\nwas a sad phenomenon, in  the early 1990s, that only happened to the Tamil\nfamilies.  Every October, November and December, only the Tamil parents,\nand not the Sinhalese,  Muslims and Burgher parents got\nafflicted with cancer.   All these Tamil refugees come to the\nMission in the hundreds with telegrams from Home with the same message – “COME\nHOME IMMEDIATELY MOTHER\/FATHER IS SERIOUSLY ILL WITH CANCER STOP MAY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOT LAST TOO LONG”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not nice, Sumanthiran. It is time you cut out this\n‘Bull-shit.” of yours.  My tolerance level on that score is\nzero,  And I don’t like it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did I hear that your adopted Mother Michelle works for\nthe UNHRC, which Nikki Haley of the US called it a “Cesspool of\npolitical bias”<\/em>?  <\/strong>That is the rub!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And finally let me share the incident with Appapillai\nAmirthalingam that made me turn on him and  call him a God damn\nLiar.  And I resent that rascal..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a conversation with  Robert Wenman, the\nConservative MP for Fraser Valley, in British Columbia, (he is no longer\nwith us) he said, “Asoka, but the Tamils never asked for a\nseparate Tamil State, Eelam.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“What the heck are you talking Robert, from\nwhere did you get that notion.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Amirthalingam told me so.”<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“No, I don’t believe you.  I doubt he would\never say that.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I got him on tape, Asoka.  Come home\ntomorrow evening and I will play you the tape.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I did go the following evening to his home at Hog’s Back,\nnear Carleton University<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He took me to the basement and played the VHS tape. \nRobert  Wenman, the Conservative MP for Fraser Valley, was right. \nAmirthalingam stood in front of a white wall, with his white vetti\nand his white kurta shirt, with  a Vadukoddai saintly-cat\nsmile and said<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“No, I never asked for a Separate Tamil\nState, Eelam, nor did my  colleagues of my political party.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All that was missing on him was a rusting gold -plated\nsaintly halo over his head.  That bastard!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Robert, tomorrow, I will bring you printed\narticles for my defense, and read all of it.  I will meet you two\ndays later,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and you can tell me what you think of Amirthalingam, when he comes to town and the Speaker of the Canadian<\/em><\/strong> \u00a0parliament introduces\u00a0him standing in the Gallery of the Chamber,\u00a0 and you\u00a0 Canadian parliamentarians, stand up\u00a0at attention and\u00a0clap\u00a0 your hands in\u00a0unison, welcoming\u00a0him.\u00a0 What a facial\u00a0Act of separatist Tamil Hog Wash – an Act of the Canadian-Tamil Blarney Gong\u00a0Show.”<\/em><\/strong> So I met him two days later, and Robert Wenman, showed his embarrassment\u00a0getting boiled lobster red in his face and\u00a0told me –“I am embarrassed.\u00a0 You are\u00a0right..\u00a0 This Amirthalingam has\u00a0take us down a thorny garden path.\u00a0 I am sorry, for\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>what happened”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Robert, don’t apologize to me.\u00a0 Get\u00a0you party to send out a Press Release, explaining the\u00a0embarrassment\u00a0of the<\/em><\/strong> Conservatives’, and apologizing to the Canadian-Sinhalese Community..”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“You know what, Robert, that will never happen as\nyou guys and gals are groveling at the Tamil feet as you all’ want<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

their Sinhalese-blood soaked. votes.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well,\u00a0 Mr. Sumanthiran, you will hear from me again, as I want to speak to you. and expos\u00e9\u00a0you to your\u00a0Tamil separatist\u00a0shenanigans’,\u00a0 And don’t you ever question our Sinhalese intelligence, as I will be the first Sinhalese to spit dragon-fire at you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
