Abdul Aziz<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\nIn Sri Lanka, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama\u2019at was established in 1915.It was during\nthe life time of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, (Peace be on him) &#8211; Founder of\nAhmadiyya Muslim Community (Jama\u2019at) &nbsp;in Islam \u2013 Promised Messiah and\nImam-al-Mahdi that, some of his books reached Ceylon as they reached\nEurope,&nbsp; America and&nbsp; Africa, A prominent Muslim gentleman who had\nbeen the trustee of the Mardana Mosque in Colombo at that time Mr. I.L.M.\nAbdul&nbsp; Aziz, after reading a few of such books, had sent his Bai\u2019at (oath\nof allegiance) to enter the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama\u2019at by post direct to Hazrat\nMirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian in 1907.&nbsp; Mr. I.L.M. Abdul&nbsp; Aziz\npublished an article entitled \u2018A short sketch of Ahmadiyya Movement\u2019, in a\nmagazine named  Muslim Guardian\u201d, (Sept. 1907 issue) authored by him. This way\nthe first introductory article about Ahmadiyya&nbsp; Muslim Jama\u2019at appeared in\nCeylon in September, 1907. He died in 1915 and his tomb is still preserved at\nMardana Mosque in Colombo. In 1915,\nHazrat Sufi Ghulam Muhammad, a\ncompanion of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (a.s.) arrived in Colombo and stayed\nthere for 3 months and established this Community in Sri Lanka. It\u2019s also came\nto know, Sri Lanka had issued a Commemorative Stamp of Marhoom I.L.M. Abdul\nAziz at that time.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By A.
