According to the Foreign Ministry, under the Specified Skilled Worker\nRecruitment Program (SSWRP), 14 job fields have been allowed to recruit\nemployees from Sri Lanka to Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Prime Minister reiterated that there is a\ngrowing interest among Sri Lankans to both learn the Japanese language as well\nas to seek employment opportunities in Japan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, Ambassador Mizukoshi also\nsaid he would like to focus on investment promotion during his tenure.\nCurrently, there are approximately 75 enterprises with Japanese investments\noperating in Sri Lanka.
