Dear\nEditor ,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\nis disappointing and frustrating to see the respected Cardinal, continuing to\nraise doubts of a underlying conspiracy ” despite the  clear facts\nidentified by the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into the Easter Sunday\nBombings, not finding any underlyingcnspiracy .  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To\nraise these doubts  he uses a. concern<\/strong> raised by an earlier\nappointed and later discredited parliamentary select committee<\/strong>, ( PSC)\nappointed by then PM RW, primarily with a view to deflecting any suspicion away\nfrom him,.The select committee  included those  well known to be\nclose to Muslim Wahabi Extremism , like Rauf Hakeem.It had no credibility even\nwith those who appointed it. The concern<\/strong> raised by this discredited\ncommission\u2019s superseded and un corroborated subsequently  by the findings\nof the Presidential Committee of inquiry ,  is now a fact ,<\/strong>for the\ncardinal. Sadly , this is seriously  reflecting on his judgement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This\nPSC committee has the same credibility as the RW \u2019s commission appointed\ncommittee of three lawyer friends of his to investigate the then alleged \nCentral Bank Robbery\u201d, that cleared him and anyone of any wrong doing. We know\nhow the subsequently appointed Presidential Committeee overturned these, found\ntremendous wrong doing, filed action against many including against his close\nfried form CB governor, Mahendran, who continues to abscond and evade\ndeportation from Singapore to face trial, while the ultimate  culprit who\nappointed Mahendran, to steal these funds , to use tham for subsequent\npolitical undermining of Sri Lanka as is happening now, RW, rubs his hands in\nglee.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly,\nthe subsequently appointed Presidential Committee of\nInquiry  (PCI)  <\/strong>into the easter Bombings has not found any\ntruth in these allegations of the PSC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In\nfact, as revealed by Prof Rohan Gunaratne  on Ada Deran TV Hyde Park\nprogram on 1\/12\/21 <\/strong>available on the net, killer leader Zaharan<\/strong> ,\nclearly states that they carried out these bombings using their own hands<\/strong>,\nusing only muslim funds and help and not with any non Muslim help, which to\nthem would be Haram<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\ncalls intelligence Dogs\u201d and has never acknowledged any help or cover up\nfrom them<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In\nthe face of these , it is deeply disappointing to see the respected Cardinal<\/strong>\n, continuing to raise doubts in the ongoing court process and so undermine it\nand with it undermining healing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please\nfind some excerpts from a video message recorded by Zaharan, the day before\nthe bombings <\/strong> from a safe house in Ratmalana.This was  to be\nused as encouragement by his brothers led Mujahidine bombers who were to follow\nthe Easter Sunday attacks , with an ongoing program of bombings  including\nbombing the Esala Perehera. In August 2019.<\/strong> On discovery of this\nconspiracy by the intelligence services this whole cell committed suicide\nincluding Zaharan\u2019s brothers<\/strong>. The only one to leave this before the suicide\nwas Zahan’s wife and daughte<\/strong>r . Zaharan\u2019s wife, from a Zufi muslim\nfamily,<\/strong> was staunchly opposed to Zharans  ideology <\/strong>and is now a\nkey witness , in the inquiry and court cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All\nthese were revealed by Prof Rohan Gunaratne terrorism expert and key\ninvestigator  that helped  in the  Presidential committee\ninquiry and in the ongoing court cases. I urge every reader to view this Ada\nDerana Hyde Park interview of 1\/12\/21<\/p>\n\n\n\n
